i use google voice and now i came block all the a******* that try to call me.

Called me 11/6/12. I answered & immediately hung up.

The Do Not Call list was created for legit companies and honest people within the U.S. The lying wimps who call you with fake numbers don't care about the Do Not Call List. After reporting their numbers, just pray that they get caught or get into some other trouble beyond recovery.

I've gotten calls I never pick up how to i block this????? I also receive calls from many other scam numbers does anyone else??? One is in Las Vegas, DC, and Scranton

They keep calling me and its always about winning a trip to the Bahamas if you do a survey. I am at work when these idiots call and dont have time for a survey and I dont trust them anyways. The only thing you will get for free is a hard time. Cant leave a message to not call back. I am on the do not call list, how the heck do these people get my number????

A couple notes on what you can do to prevent unwanted callers. I have Verizon and use a Droid Incredible (HTC).

If they are not leaving messages:
-Save the number and then enable 'send to voice mail' option. This way you never get the call, it just goes to your voice mail. I have several of these numbers saved under Z and link them all together. The only thing you will notice is a couple missed calls, and you'll be like, "dang I missed a call from Z again!."

If they are leaving messages:
Use one of the 5 free blocked numbers through Verizon. You can do this online or call them to have it set up. I just rotate these numbers, but don't have to use them very much after I found out about the send to voice mail option.

One question that I have is why is the same company trying to contact me with different phantom numbers?  I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT INTERESTED!!!

I hung up as soon as I heard an automated "CONGRATULATIONS".
Sigh.

It can also b a spoof line.or trapline.but apps like Mr.Number or Call Blocker work great for this

got a call from this number at112:18 pm didnt know the number so didnt answer.

Number just called me twice, didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Now I'm glad I didn't. Hopefully those two will be the only calls I get. Called back from my work line and the VM box hasn't been set up.

If you go to your cell phone account you can block numbers......at least with verizon you can.

Just received call from this unknown # and did not answer it.  But when I call this # back (4 times), no one ever answer!!  No good...

They go through the whole speil and then say all you have to do is pay $59.00 per person RIGHT NOW to get the free cruise tickets.  I said I don't have the money and am not interested and now I am on the auto dial...grrr.  I am on the do not call list but they keep calling.

I just got another call on my cell phone after not hearing from them for months.  Thought I was through with them, but no-o-o-o-o.  Cheap a$$ scam worms.

OOOHHHH....  I won a "free cruise to the bahamas."  All they ask is that I complete a "short survey" to receive my two tickets...  choose option "9" to be removed from list.  Didn't stay on long enough to find out what the survey was about.  I'm on the do not call list but that doesn't apply to non-profits and political calls.

Keep getting calls from this number.

This # called my cell phone.
Showed "No Name" on display.
Did not answer, they left no message.
Figured to be "Scam" so why bother answereing, BUT now I know next time, what it is and just what I "Want To Say" if I can get anyone to pick up at their end.
