Called a little while ago. The voice kept talking while I told them that we never make any donations based on telephone cold calls, which lead me to believe that it was a robo-call. Number range is now Blocked on the Ooma.

No sure about this, but a person on another site claims this is an American Veteran group kicking off a fund raiser.
I don't do business with charities that call me on the phone. For that matter, I don't do business with anybody that calls me on the phone. If I want to do business with them, I will call them up.

Yes, that is the way he identified himself when I answered. (American Veterans fundraising). I kindly told them no, thanks, because we give to Disabled Veterans and that we are on fixed income and that is all we can afford. But they KEEP calling; harassing and annoying us. Our family member is in hospice and these calls need to stop. The only time he is not suffering is when he is sleeping; and they keep waking him up! Leave us alone!!

Caller ID was not listed as anything but the phone number with a "V" in front of it. When answered, a gentleman went into a script of the American Veterans kicking off fundraising and soliciting donations.

They acalled this afternoon 20140127. The caller ID said "Unavailable". They left no message. This is a nuisance call at best. At worst it is a political call.
