Call me everyday. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. Unfortunately, my blocked call list is full of other scammers, so I can't add them to the list.

Random numbers displayed they ring three times and call drops off seconds before my answering machine picks up.

5th call from this number - phone always rings 3 times and they hang up seconds before answering machine picks up.

They call all hours including Saturday afternoon.

Desperate to trick me into answering.  It will NEVER happen.

3/29/14  7PM Saturday night - they are determined and have called 2 days in a row.    3 ring hang up.

202 area code began calling earlier this year and use random numbers.  All fake

Caller ID is V32817111600302. Im on the do not call list so do not call.

202-817-2943 called our home on 3/27/2014 at 5:42 PM, call was blocked by our PhoneTray software.  Caller name ID read as Unavailable.

On the DNC List, and these SPAMMERS keep calling. Here's the Caller ID as shown " V32719125700299 / 202-817-2943. Somebody Stop these C*** Weasels.

Calls using 202 area code began calling in July 2013.  Random numbers are being displayed they all ring three times and call drops off seconds before my answering machine picks up.

The robo dialers think they are smarter than the  people they call.  I never answer unknown numbers or unknown names.

My DNC has protected me from 99% of the scam calls on the past.  However, it is impossible to keep up with the vast combination of numbers they use in attempt to get people to answer their phone.

We received a phone call tonight that said the call was going to be recorded from the veterans association.  We are on a "do not call list".  My husband hung up on them.  We have been getting calls every day for the last week from an "unknown" number and I tricked a man into answering once.  He asked for my husband and when I refused to leave the phone he said he wanted to thank my husband for his contribution to the veterans last year. (my husband did not). He then asked for $15.00 and said I could surely afford that.  I said "no" and hung up.  Then we get this other call tonight.

Received a call from this # .  Caller ID: Washington, D.C. did not answer & no message left.  Calls numerous times a week. Annoying!  Am on the DNC list..

received several calls from this "unknown name".  do not answer calls I do not recognize.

Just got a call from this number, came across as WASHINGTON DC on the caller ID. Ended up not answering due to the amount of calls we get a day like this, they never left a message either.

Caller ID shows WASHINGTON DC for phone number 202.817.2943. I hope they're not as annoying as the DISABLED VETS (651.487.2002) who continually call me!

I also called back the number.  It sounded like a real person answered the call, thanking me for calling back, and informing me it was a call from a veterans charity.  He started his spiel, and I interrupted him, informing him I would like them to remove our phone number from the calling list.  That's when it seemed I was talking to an automated system.  I asked "him" if he needed my phone number or if they had caller ID.  He did not answer the question, but said he would remove the number, thanked me, and apparently disconnected the call.  Unfortunately, calls from charities are exempt from the do not call list.  I am adding it to my blocked numbers, just in case.

Called my unlisted home phone.  Rang 4 times, then stopped ringing.  It came through as "Unavailable".  I don't pick up calls that are "Unavailable" or that I don't know personally.  I don't know how my unlisted number got out, but lately I've been getting loads of shady charity calls.  I don't pick up any of them.  I give to lots of charities, but not over the phone.

It clicked when I answered, then took more than two seconds before being connected, making this count as an abandoned call. After a few seconds, I got a recorded message, either with voice-recognition or a sound board to provide canned responses.

Just got this call. Didn't answer... Have now added it to my call blocker. Works very well and, yeah, half of the phone calls now are from "charities" like this that spend most of their money on things like marketing - easily blocked. Just wish they'd learn their lesson and stop calling.

Apparently this is a fundraising call from the "Veteran's Support Foundation", thus the DoNotCall rules do not apply to them.

These annoying calls (many a day) have driven me to disconnect the answering machine and unplug all but one wired phone with the ringer turned off. I only keep a land line for the occasional business faxes I send/receive. Other than that, a land line is just an annoyance. We can all thank spam callers for killing what is left of the land line business!! After a couple of months of spammers hearing endless ringing with no pick up, maybe I'll shake the them and can start using the phone I am still paying for again.

Have the entire 202 area code blocked due to the constant scam calls using that area code.  Would NOT trust anyone claiming to be a charity with this area code, because that is a common scam type.  

Charity or not, don't call me for any donation as I will not donate anything over the phone.  I just keep the volume on the phone down and don't even bother to pick it up.

I called the number back.
There is a real person there. They were polite when they answered the phone. When I asked them what they wanted they thanked me for returning the call and then turned on a recorded message for Veterens charity. They want donations to help the veterens.

Called again tonight - at 6:09PM - twice right in a row.  My Call Blocker stopped the first one, after the first ring.  Called again immediately, but got immediately BLOCKED AGAIN!  LOVE that gadget!

I put in two complaints with the DNC list - to go with the four I've already registered on this one number!

Why so harsh dude?

they have been calling for a couple of weeks now thought it may be the IRS this is crap!
