I keep receiving calls stating they are from the IRS and are suing me and I need to return the call as soon as possible. I have already contracted the IRS and verified there is no lawsuit agains me and that this is a scam.

I received two calls. Told to call back or have my attorney call. Said that if I did not "good luck as the situation unfolds on you". He had a very thick accent.

Ummm.. yes this number is definitely a scam..has been calling me all day.googled the number and there all of you were..I just called back and cursed him out..my goodness his accent suks..

Just saw on the news that there is a scam. An "officer" from the IRS will call you stating you owe $X and you must pay at once or you will be arrested. The report states the IRS will only send notices like this in writing through the mail. Don't send any money.

Yes , its a scam since they do know your name and want to know further information like your address etc.

IT'S A SCAM!!! I received the same message from this "officer" from 4 different area codes/numbers with 3 different names already. Claims to be an IRS agent. Other numbers called from 202-864-1137, 202-864-1139, 585-492-8480, 517-827-4852.

He said he's calling from irs don't hang up or you'll be sorry.
