I am getting the phone calls from  202 - 864-1140. They try to threat me by sending me to jail.

Got a call from 2028641140. Left a voice mail claiming that there is a legal warrant against me and that I should return the call immediately and should not disregard the message.

Got a threatening voice mail just like how others mention here

I am getting the phone calls from last week. They try to threat me by sending me to jail.

I got a call today from a person saying he is an officer from the department of homeland security by the name of jack Marshall he had an Indian accent he asked for my husband then for my husband cell phone number which of course he didn't get

They have been scoping home number and also my office. The number is 202 864 1140; the caller identifies himself as officer Ken Morgan from homeland security and leaves messages about my personal verification and how there are legal proceeding about to him. The caller has very dense indian accent.

The guy called with a fake accent claiming to be from homeland Security. Asked what his name was n he said it was mark Johnson. I said you sound more like a Jay Subramanyam to me, and started laughing. He cut the phone and never called back.

He was asking for a call from homeland regarding the case, when I asked what kind of case he hang up. He had british accent.

We did recieve a phone call from this 202-864-1140 left a messg saying that they did open a federal investigation case and should call this number back. Please be aware of this scams.

This is the 3rd time I received a call from this number. First it was from some agent investigating some criminal activity. A few weeks later it was from IRS and today again regarding some criminal activity. All three times asked for my husband and all three times I spoke saying I am he. It's some Indian/parkistan I accent with an American name....
Becareful was asking about mt attorneys number and etc. I am just wondering if the police can do anything about it.

The caller (by a name of "Brandon Taylor") was very intimidating being very rude and saying that he needed a number for something urgent.

Continuously calling three times when he was hung up after the first time, he called back and scolded the people in the house.

The guy that called me had an Indian accent. I have his voice recorded. I'm going to report to the police.

They keep calling and leaving message to call back otherwise i'll get arrested.  Just few minutes ago I picked up and spoke to guy?got transferred to officer Maxwell?I asked him where is he calling from and he said head quarter washington dc.  I told him you do not have American Accent and I'm snuffing(just made up) your call which shows you're out of this country.  Asked him tell me my ss# if I owe the taxes and that was the end of it.  He threatened me that I'll be arrested in couple of hours and I said?get lost.

Got a call few minutes ago claiming to be investigation officer from IRS. Must from a village in South Asia by pronunciation. I told him that this the Law Offices of K>>>> and that he is not any officer but a M#$^&#.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER WITH TREATENING MESSAGE

caller very rude, furious , cursing and claimed to by IRS officer

Just got a call a few minutes back. did not answer back, but it sounded pretty fake. guy called home phone addressing mom, saying he was part of criminal investigation. based on others, i think it's confirmed it be fake

this is another scam,i got a call from the 202-864-1140,letting me know that they a open file for me with different complaints.i scared him away and he hung upon me.

Yes, it is the same 'IRS Scam' with a new number this time. And it is targeted towards folks with south asian sounding names. Got a message from this number yesterday threatening to get me arrested if I don't call them back promptly. When I called there was some 'officer' with some 'criminal investigation department'. When I asked him some question, he got belligerent and hung up!!
It is unfortunate that some people are willing to pay them because they become so nervous, otherwise I don't think this ploy would last that long.

Got a call from this number, saying I did some money laundering and did not file form 62. In the first instance, I believed it unintentionally even though I have been paying my taxes every year. Then I started asking lot of questions - he gave me this number as IRS number and I should get a tax pay advice / note to pay the balance of $3,852.25 - otherwise I will be prosecuted and an officer will be at my place in the next 10mins. He also said, I have to pay it today - otherwise I have be in court tomorrow. He also used my middle name partly, which I never use on my tax returns. Then I got suspicious and then started searching for the scam using this number, then I asked him whether he was able to trace my address based on my call with them - since we moved recently. Then he hung after asking me to wait on call for a while... Bummer, got worried for few mins - really!!! BeWare, never provide card or personal info to any unknown person over phone.

Incoming call callerid came in as 202-459-6029.

Got a call from this # claiming they were from state investigation department. Looks like a scammer.

Got a voicemail  from a woman claiming to be with the IRS and Govt and demanding i contact her or else she would start legal proceedings against me.  

I had received a similar call from a man in CA a few months ago.  Had checked with my attorney - this is a scam.

Please, please, please DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO TO THESE MONSTERS!!!

This is new number of IRS scammers, they are now using this number to threaten innocent people about tax excavation investigation.
