Called and hung up...  Today around 11:24 am...

I received a call from this number today.  I was unable to answer the call, and was annoyed no message had been left.  I simply dialed the number, which is for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and asked to be removed from their call list.  The lady that answered was quite pleasant and indicated my number would be added to their internal Do Not Call list.

Yes it is a charity line for Breast Cancer Research. If you do not donate, they will keep calling you every day. Call them back and ask that your number be removed.

202-870-5170 -- I receive several phone calls each day from this number.  How do I stop them?

I went to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) web site.  The web site says they DO NOT seek donations by phone.  

Only honest companies seem to honor the Do NOT Call Registry.

Get this all the time.  Comes in as either W2W or BCRF.  How do you stop getting these calls?
They aren't the only ones and it's such a pain.  I'm on the Do Not Call Registry so why are these
getting through?

For Call Type I put Unknown because I do NOT answer them.

It is a cell phone in the DC area.  That's all I can get without paying for it. They call all the time.  I don't answer calls from people I don't know.

It is a breast cancer organization..I called the number back, and asked about it..as a 3 time breast cancer suvivor,I told them, I make my donations when I can, and to my preferred organizations..I asked to be removed from the list and they were cordial, and, said they would..no issues..

I think it could be Breast Cancer Research Foundation
