Who is calling me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Collection company The CBE Group.  I turned my fax machine on… 3 rings.. stops the calls.

Got yet another stinking robocall, entreaty from American Crossroads to take advantage of early voting.

I cut it off mid-sentence -- we had gotten a mailer from this same org. in today's mail in support of Marco Rubio's (R - FL) US Senate candidacy & trashing Crist.

'Nuff said.

Multiple calls, several times a day to my cell phone. Did not answer.

I CALL THIS STUPID NUMBER BACK AND I GET A DISCONNECTED MESSAGE!

Received a call from this phone number today and it reads "Out of Area" but at least they left a Republican party message so it's OK with me.

Most of the calls I receive are marketing companies that call several times a day, don't know who they are, and are absolutely useless.

It is a political phone call. It is election time and political parties, charities, ARE allowed to make phone calls to you even if you are on the do not call list.

Interdepartamental list means they will keep on calling and calling.  Someone called me from another company and I asked to be taken off and they said they would my number of a do not call list and guess what, someone else called the next day and the next.

I got this call and it said AMXRD on my caller id. They left a political ad on my answering machine.

Political message was left. Yeah right, like I'll vote for someone stooping to this level of "campaigning". Forget you Michael Bennet!!

Yeah, I got TWO calls from this bunch of misfits and suggest that everyone just answer the phone and immediately HANG UP without saying a word.  

They will have to pay for the call and get NOTHING in return (which is just what they deserve).
One additional thing we can do is to demand that the FCC chairperson be FIRED for not doing their job -

Send an email to your Senator and legislator - to remind that your vote depends upon them doing the job we send them to Congress for.

This is a Republican front group doing robo-calls for their candidates.  Who in the world would put Republicans back into power after the 8 years of unbridled spending which caused this crisis.  Use your own brain and vote for the Democrat running.

Called in mid-afternoon; AMXRD on the Caller ID; No message left on the answering machine; same as several previous times.

I just noticed the advertisement for www.ennouncement.com a civilian telephone based mass caller service listed by Goggle half way down this page!
I am seriously thinking of entering every politicians number that has interrupted my life then setting it on auto dial to repeat contact until answered starting at 8:00  PM. The message would be as irritating and pointless as theirs. Something like "thank you for reminding my household about their constitutional right concerning freedom of speech and how to annoy people I don't know, BLAH, Blah, Blah. Click"

202-870-5873 currently (Oct. 2010) belongs to the political organization; The CBE Group. They use an annoying recorded message to remind registered voters to take advantage of early absentee voting. Since it is a political based call they can circumvent the "do not call" laws and ring through anytime between 8AM and 9PM seven days per week. Maybe we need to repeal/change that law too?

Unfortunately, political calls are exempt from the Do Not Call list.

I live in Florida and got a call from this number yesterday. Its a robo call about voting..

same thing tonight AMXRD called,  we are on the DO Not Call list but it doesnt seem to matter they keep calling day and night.  Cant wait til the election is over either!

Recording to vote early and republican.  At end of message gave another number to call to contact them but sped through it so fast I couldn't get the last four digits.  Can't wait until the election is over.

Just got a call too. Said AMXRD on the caller ID. I just picked it up and hung it up....then googled it of course  :)
