This number just called me today and I had missed the call. I called back and he tried to look me up by my phone number, He then wanted me to verify my information. I only gave my name and he wanted my address to. he said I initiated the phone call when they called me first so I hung up the phone call. I have way too many scammers calling me everyday trying to get my personal information. However this seems to be a collection agency of some sort.I will be blocking this number and continue on with my day!

This number continues to call my cell and will not stop.

this # is to a collection agent called IC Systems,they get paid by the call not by the how much they collect,so they don't care who they call or if they call the correct person, i just blocked them

Okay..,.I was having a huge fight with Con Ed because they refused to read my meter (which has been in the same place since 1979) and the estimated bills were off the charts.Actually got it out of the rep they were trying to collect for Con Ed. You can't win. Just gave Con Ed almost $500 to get these guys off my back.

Thanks for the info.  I have been getting it lately on my cell and it is definitely annoying and costing me money, too.  Unfortunately, I am not residing in Phoenix, Arizona.  For now, I get these calls about once a week.  Knowing it was a debt collector, this may be part of the Identity Theft case I am currently dealing with and probably will be, sadly, for the rest of my life.  Speaking of life, mine is complicated enough and I don't know why such people exist to do harm to people like us.  If these calls continue on, then I will make sure to talk to a LIVE person and put an end to them, at least for this company, once and for all.  I know with your posting date, it has been 3 years.  I hope you are getting positive results.  If nothing yet, Good Luck with your case. multiple calls a day, I do believe they are a collection agency however they will not speak to me about what it is for unless i "verify" my identity, which I am not willing to do.

called 10 times on my husband's cell.  Didn't know it until we looked at messages.  It's a new phone, only a month old.

Evry morning I receive a call from that number.

They call me again and they're going to get my phone up their a**!

Just called that annoying number: 202-870-5977. Talked to someone named Brenda. She stated they were looking for my ex-daughter in law and somehow my number got associated with her. They promised to eliminate my number from their system within the next 24-48 hours.

If this does not happen, I will post back that it failed.

Got about the 11th call today from 202-870-5977. I pick up and they hang up. This has been happening for weeks now and I am sick of it. Isn't there anything or anyone can do about it??

Well, either all you people inherited new cell phone or home phone numbers from dead beats who don't pay their debts or you guys are the dead beats and it's a collection agency trying to collect money. I've been getting them for years for some woman who hasn't paid National Fuel....

Return the phone call and get you number off their list....

The most I could get them to admit was they were IC Systems; like MC said above, they refused to tell me anything more than that until they verified my information. Did a quick Google search while I was on the phone with them and found 48 complaints against them at Consumer Affairs and 743 compaints against them at the BBB! I refused to give them any of my information so they hung up.

Getting prank calls from this number. No one speaks when I answer, they don't leave voicemails either

They called, 202 number, I picked up, they asked who I was, I asked who they were, and they wouldn't say.  Transferred me to somebody, who asked who I was, I asked why they were, she said she couldn't tell me until she "verified my information."

This is typical spammer/phisher behavior.  Whoever they are, on the strength of their approach alone, it may be possible to get them investigated as phishers.  That is, thieves.

Got a call yesterday from this number and missed it, no message left.  Today, some foreign person starts talking gibberish I didn't understand, asking for someone I don't know, then asked how long I have had this phone.  I told him two years, and he said sorry to bother you and hung up.  Hopefully that is the last of it!

Oh yeah.  Very big.

They call me 2-3 times a day.  I just answered 5 minutes ago, dead air.

This number calls me at minimum 10-15 times a day!!

This Number is colletion agency if you have an iphone get a app iblacklist this will bypass everytime this number calls you,or send you messeges this app is fantastic any call will send to voice mail or will give it busy line, or vibrate i advice anyone to add if you jailbroken phone is free to add it look at youtube how to install this app for free good luck hope it helps

dont know who they are or what they want

This number has called me twice today. I did not answer and they have not left a message.

Both home and cell phones are receiving calls from this number. When I listen to the answering machine, as soon as it picks up, it dials out to another number.
