Do not give any info. But ask for info. Try not to pick up the call. If you did, then that's it. You will get hundreds of calls. Some of the numbers are (423) 900-0382, 609-334-2119, (202) 751-2477, (202) 751-2533, (202) 888-3262, (866) 978-0516. They say irs, they always say they got legal complaint . They use bad words, if you ask for the address proof. Do not attempt to pickup  the call.

3 rd day no one says anything

I have received almost 2 dozen calls from "CallerId4U, Inc., on "voice mail", and reported to law enforcement.  Every time you try to unsubscribe, you get another call from a different phone number, none of which is listed under "CallerId4U, Inc..  Some calls do not have a name, just a phone number, as I have "Caller ID".  They all have the same message, to "update your goggle account".  I do not have Goggle as my Search Engine.  I also have an unlisted number, so do not appreciate being "stalked", and having my time wasted with these illegal solicitations!  I am also on the Government's "Do Not Call" List.
It is time for these guilty parties to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Called back and it was Amnesty International. Good outfit but went over the line telespamming me. Didn't answer the call. No message.

Comes up Patriots. Call every other day for weeks now. Hang up when recorder goes on.

2028886297 called my cell phone this morning.  No answer when I returned the call. Recording said "hit any key to be removed from this list."  Not sure this is a valid response - could result in some other unwanted problem.

call inquiring if you owe back taxes to the IRS, they start by saying the got the information from public record,

This number has called twice now.  Supposedly it's "Sarah", and she wants to talk about "your back taxes". At the start of the call there is a long pause - I think probably for the PERSON on the line to cue the tape - and then a recording.  I think there may be someone who listens in during this call.  They cue the tape for an answered call, and another for unanswered calls.  I may be wrong, but the option of "removal" from their calling list was not in the recording that was played for answered calls.  It'd be motivation enough to call them back to have your number removed, but then (according to other comments on here) you are still added to multiple calling lists just by calling them back.  I am about to take it further, due to this news of the IRS targeting/harassing certain people due to their personal convictions on issues that the President is pushing.  It's my cell phone and I'm on the do-not-call list.  It's illegal for them to call my #. Period.

I got a call from this phone number too (shown as "Unknown"), and they quickly disconnected. This is a robo-dialed initiative to get you to call them back. When you do, you have identified your phone number as live and opted in to their b.s. and having your number sold across the country.

If you do not know who is calling you, do not pick up the phone or ring them back!

I believe 202-888-1444 phone number belongs to CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Report a phone call from 202-888 1444, claiming be the IRS.

I keep getting messages as well, but for a different Bernadette, it seems they got my social security number. Someone stole my identity before, and I reported it. From what everyone is saying it's a robo call. That makes me feel better; I've filed a police report about this crap. I hope they get busted soon; I don't owe any money to anyone.

 Went all the way to voice mail and left tax relief message.

Just received this call to my work phone... didn't pick up cause I googled the number.  Left a voice mail, was a robo call with a womans voice that had number prompts to try to lower tax debts.  Apparently if you press 7, you get removed?

Received a call from 202-888-1444, no one answered.

It was a tax debt reduction related automated call.

There is an app called voice recorder tell any telemarketer to hold on so u can hit record and let them know AFTER it is turned on that this conversation is being recorded for lawsuit purposes and this is your companies final notice to stop calling, will not work with debt collectors as they have the right to make an attempt for debt collection. However, laws for debt collection vary from each state google to find out may be some benefit in the end.

Just got a call from 202-888-1444 looked it up on Google and will not call them back due to the comments stating that they would sell my number to a telemarketing base. Remember when we were happy that cell phones didn't do that???

These are all robo-dialed numbers. Basically, they don't want you to answer the call...They purposely end the call prior to you answering in the effort for them to get YOU to call them back. Once YOU call them back, the call then becomes solicited and they will add your caller ID (number) to their database as an "opted in" call. Once that happens, your number will be sold/spread across a wide variety of telemarketers.

If you ever get any unsolicited calls from numbers you are not aware of, DO NOT call them back.
