All callers, whether subject to honoring the Do Not Call list initially or not are supposed to maintain an internal Do Not Call list and place numbers on it when requested.  Failure to do so can allow individuals to sue under the various telemarketing laws but getting the actual proof needed to win is not that easy.

It is my understanding that political calls are not under the Do Not Call ruling, along with charities or anyone you have done business with, even if you have asked them multiple times not to call you again.  I think we are stuck with all the political calls for both sides.

I personally don't like any robo calls or political calls. Usually they make me want to not vote for someone. It makes me feel like people think I'm not intelligent enough to type their name into a computer, see what they voted on and decide whether or not I agree for myself. :) It's okay though it's on a cell phone I got this call so I just turn it off....no big deal.

Actually there are tax breaks in this year taxes if you had insurance all this year. You should check into that so you don't miss out and have a real expert do your taxes this year. It is implemented as a 'tax' only if someone does not purchase insurance...the tax part was added as a kind of punishment for people that refuse to get insurance and that was added because we shouldn't all have to pay if someone chooses to be irresponsible. So make sure you do mention it and if you check the government website explaining all this there will be some information there about this. Hope that was of some help..

You explained that very well and with facts which is nice. People should really read the facts about the healthcare law. I'm not saying it's perfect, nothing is. I know people who had their policies go up almost $75 each in the last few months. However before this healthcare thing was talked about I know someone whos policy was $400 +  a month. Now it's about $275. Sure it's not perfect but that is almost cutting the price in half! People shouldn't be upset about it and listening to what others say. I always found reading things for myself more useful. The penalty is only like 2% of someones income if they don't pay and they can only enroll at certain times. Even the colleges are going to offer discount plans so it's silly not to sign up. During the enrollment starting in October is when I'll be signing up so  I don't miss out!
They won't be expanding Medicaid and Medicare in the states that refused the funding but the plans are so low priced and some have tax incentives at the end of the year so well worth checking into.
Also anyone that had insurance this whole year has a chance of getting some tax incentives this year's taxes. It just doesn't sound like the worst idea ever. Well said....

Seems like people just like to keep calling in my name.  Well this latest one form 202 888-6165 is the epitome of desperate politicos who just can't take no or a law to comply with.  The right-fringe is so scared of people liking this health care program that they are flapping their arms and mouths in obnoxious ways. Why don't they just grow up and learn to leave lost causes behind them.

The truth is that most people on public assistance aren't on it for more then a year. If you say anything else then you haven't done your research properly (picked polls not funded by private organizations or special interest groups). In fact only about 5% of folks are on public assistance more then a year. Most people go to school during that time and get a job asap.
Being a freeloader isn't the same as using public assistance to better yourself and then in turn all of us. Because when people better themselves they make more, they can pay taxes which helps us all. Immigration is enforced everyday, you just don't hear about it on the news because most news stations are funded aka backed by private sources and special interest groups. Welfare being enforced? You're not really making any sense either that or you don't know how the system actually works. I think you should look all this up for your benefit. Because Welfare  could cover anything from pensions to food stamps to social security (which most folks will collect at least one of those some point in their lives) all of that can be considered 'entitlements' therefore falls under what you call 'welfare'. Medicaid and Medicare, also 'welfare'. They are called 'entitlements' because if we fall ill, or on hard times we are entitled to them because we pay into them through our working lives.

Without that safety net we would have seen at least another two depressions because the house and senate can't stop taking breaks to agree on anything other than that we should go to war with Russia and Syria. Kinda sad if you ask me.
You should look up what 'left wing' means because honestly most of them aren't nuts, they just get called that because they can see the good in what some republicans do and the good in what democrats to. They are usually the people to have the most friends because they are so opened minded that they can see both sides usually and to a degree. The world could learn to meet in the middle a little more. Because without meeting in the middle we won't live in a democracy anymore. when one side has it all their way that is a dictatorship....whole different kind of government.

The worker bees are taxed to death because the government refuses to act. Two things I've found from talking to all sides that'd help right now. Is raising the minimum wage. Hear me out! To do that the businesses have to have money and security right? Right. So ....

Step 1:  Cap the most amount of taxes anyone has to pay at around 28% of their overall income. Capping the highest tax rate allows the businesses to know where they stand. Noone should pay more then 30% of what they make in taxes anyways, it's just unreasonable. Make it clear that taxes will be based on what I call a mirror scale. What does that mean? Am I crazy? Well yeah but here goes. The mirror scale is a sliding income based scale. Much like the one we have that determines poverty level and whether or not people qualify for assistance aka welfare. If we do this then the hurt is the same across the board, everyone pays what is considered a fair share and the stock market will become more stable because people know what to expect.
Also we can figure out the amount we're taxed based on the scale.

Step 2:  the businesses could then raise the minimum wage. $15 and hour? No that is unreasonable to expect. I say this because students just getting out of college might make that and they had an investment there. So they deserve more money then someone that hasn't been to college yet because they usually have loans to pay back. Sorry if that upsets people but it's true. I do think that $8.75 an hour would be a good place to start.

You mentioned about people having no energy to get up and take care of their own. Some people have disabilities and got them from working. Including vets that can no longer work because they fought for all of us and they deserve some compassion and the ability to retrain of possible. They deserve a bit of compassion from us not our judgement. I don't think the people who are disabled 'blame' anyone. You really should talk to people you dislike so much you could learn a great deal. I know the people I've learned a lot from in life are the very people that were completely different from me.
I really hope you look some of the facts up to educate yourself just a bit. I'm not judging you only trying to help because when someone judges people in a group and starts thinking of them as 'those people' perhaps it's time to reevaluate.

I am sorry that you have to work so hard. I hope things improve for you but I think the two steps above would help the economy a lot for all sides.

Every tax you pay, forces you to pay for something you may not want, but that is considered vital to the common good.  Every payment for Medicare and Social Security withheld from your paycheck is paying for something for the common good of not having people destitute and requiring others to have to pay for your medical care and feeding in your old age so you aren't on the public dole....which other people might not want to pay for in your stead.  Requiring insurance is the same thing.  If you don't buy insurance, it isn't free, and if you get sick or have to be hospitalized and can't pay for it, we all pay for it...it isn't free.  How much better if people are made to plan for that eventuality rather than the rest of us paying for those who don't bother to plan for accidents or illness.

We should defund obamacare!  It infringes on the Constitutional rights of Americans to demand, under penalty, each citizen to PURCHASE with our money, a product!
