This guy just called me trying to get me to "settle" out of court for a an amount i apparently owed a dental office.  I told him i will call the dental office to get this figured out.  He told me no, that i need to pay him the settlement.  On that note, i told him i have to go now and hung up.

Over last few days got a bunch of harassing calls from a John Adler and his associate Vince Razzi. Both of them claim to be investigators following up on a past due bill, when in fact, they are really just glorified bill collectors for bad debts. If they don't get the answer they want or you don't just roll over, they become quite angry and start to swear and call you all kinds of names, like bum, deadbeat, scumbag and so on. They will also threaten you with going to court and ruining your life. The funniest thing is they think of themselves as "Tough Guys" with their pushy attitudes. If they call you, you should record the calls as I don't believe for one second, that whether right or wrong they can verbally harass pople like this. In closing, be weary of these guys as I don't think they are legit.

Everyone, I think the harrassing individual (Adler/Ackner/Akner) made both posts "In Trouble" and "Its Real."  He obviously has been reading your posts.  Keep it up and let's get him arrested.  I just talked with him and he does not have any authority to do anything to you.  Let me reiterate, he has threatened me and I don't have any outstanding debts, just representing a client.  It is all a scam and he is a joke.  DO NOT PAY HIM.  Handg UP ON HIM.

they have all this information on me becauce i do owe the money got served a summons by cook county sherrifs office i got payments from the judge but it cost me 3 times the amount i originally owed

my son recd a call from John Adler saying felony charges and lawsuit has been filed against me for an unpaid bill.  He also told my son that I was going to be served.   Big Sca\m

I did get arrested I wrote 2 bad checks over $800 Adler said I had to pay in full no installments I couldn't come up the money and 2 days later cops came to my house and arrested me.Cost me $4200 total.

I have been receiving phone calls from this from this John Adler, he had all the information.  I wonder how his getting all of my personal information.  

He said he was letting the police handle this situation since I have been ignoring his phone calls.  He calls me everyday.  Good thing I haven't deleted any of his messages.  I'm going to report him. Good thing i did this search.

Yeah, same here people. John Adler, with a lisp, is calling me non stop. Telling me my sheriffs dep is gonna serve me. I offered to pay in installments, but that wasnt exceptable. Supposedly, i was supposed to get served about 1 month ago, and I'm still receiving threats. Telling me about a suspension of my state ID???? Telling me to have my lawyer call. This guys name is John Adler.  He says he stationed in Washington, D.C. but he sends his letters from Illinois.  What he's doing is committing mail fraud by soliciting money on debts that don't exists and I'm not sure how he gets your information he's also not licensed to collect any debts.  My suggestion is to stalk him just like he's stalking you and to file a police report with your local authorities just in case anything weird happens.  I would also suggest reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission / FCRA.

It's a scam, he's a scam artist. I forgot his name, but he says he's a private investigator and that then he tell them that they need to give him some money they owe to another company. It's a big scam, just tell him to go fu@k himself!!!
