Now these mutha****** are using a different number for this scam 202-407-9094, watch it they're full of s***. I'm from the east side of Detroit,  I know a scam when I hear one. This government ain't giving nobody $9000 without having to pay it back.  Now they're saying go buy a green dot card & put $300 on it & in 15 min your money will be there. Man f*** them.

I received a call from these morons (202) 905-0425 and they hung up on me, so I called back. A man with an accent answered and said I needed to give them .50 in order to receive $1.00. So I said "IT'S A DONE DEAL SIR!" Then I asked him what was the point to all this and he said just because he wanted to be my best friend! Awww <3

Received a call from 202-905-0425.  Told that I had been chosen along with 15,000 other people in the U.S. to receive a grant of $9,500.  Asked if I wanted to receive my grant in my checking account, on a debit card or by paper check.  I said if this is true, I choose paper check.  He then said I would receive this check in a couple of days and that I do not have to pay this money back.

I received a phone call from these so called Grant people again, and this time I decided to see where this would lead. The first time I was contacted by this number (770)926-5021, the woman on the other end of the phone was difficult to understand, and after I told her that I didn't believe her story, she got mad and defensive, and finally hung up the phone. Today I received a phone call from the same number, and I decided to play along and see where this went. Once again I spoke with a person who was difficult to understand, this time it was a man, and he seemed way more excited than he should've been. I played along with the call, he gave me a Grant Approval #, and a phone # to contact after my call with him was finished, just to confirm the information. The contact name was Lily Brown, her # was (202)905-0360, and she was more difficult to understand than the man I spoke with 5 minutes earlier. I confirmed all the information that she had on file about me, and then she told me of this Western Union fee that needed to be paid before she could issue me the $7,000.00 in Grant money. I was told that this money would be refunded to me right away, and that it was a necessary filing fee. I told her that I was unable to pay this fee since I was currently unemployed, she asked if I had any friends or family that I could borrow the $330.00 from to get this Grant money transaction started. I told her that my father is dead, and that my mother is out of work as well, and none of my friends could lend me $330.00 since it's so close to Christmas, and money is tight. Lily became unhappy with me, and said,"Well, this money is here for you, you can call me back at anytime, and we can process your Grant money." I told her that this seems like a Scam, and she said,"Look, do you want the money or not? If you don't want the money then just say CANCEL, we're not forcing you to pay this fee." I decided that this was more than likely a Scam, so I said, "Cancel.", and the phone line immediately disconnected on her end. I guess it just goes to show you, when something sounds Too Good to be TRUE, it probably is. Hopefully no one else falls for this nonsense.

I just recieved the same call exept I was to call back a different # 202-470-0931.... A lot of scammers out there! How they get you information is through the postal service and you DMV. Its not hard to Google anybody and you can get almost a complete history on a person for less then $3. There is also Facebook and Linked In as well as Twitter and you cant forget about the computer hackers. NOTHING is safe secure or private anymore! Cover your a** at all times and always watch your back!!! Like your mother used to tell you going up, "Never trust anyone as far as you can throw them!" Good luck and dont forget to chain your doors tonight!!!

GREAT SCAM! I GOT THIS CALL FROM UNKNOWN NUMBER AND TOLD ME ABOUT THIS $7000.00 FROM US GRANT, THINKING THAT I APPLIED FOR A GRANT, I THOUGHT OK...THIS IT THEN BESIDES THEY READ TO ME MY INFORMATION. THE FIRST CALLER TOLD ME TO CALL THIS NUMBER 202-905-0360  WITH A NAME "RICKY MOORE" . I CALLED HIM AND HE REPEATED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION HOW I AM GETTING THIS MONEY, EVERYTHING WAS GOING  WELL AND SOUNDS SO REAL BUT WHEN HE MENTIONED ABOUT SEC. DEPOSIT OF $310.00 TO BE SEND THROUGH WESTERN UNION, I KNOW IT'S A SCAM. SO I PLAYED ALONG AND TOLD HIM I CALL HIM BACK IN 15MINS WHEN I GET TO WESTERN UNION. I CHECKED THE US GOV GRANT TO VERIFY A NAME RICKY MOORE AND CHECK MY APPLICATION STATUS.
SURE THAT THEY ARE SCAMMERS, I CALLED THEM BACK PRETENDING I'M IN WESTERN UNION AND READY TO SEND THE MONEY. I TOLD THEM THAT EVERYTHING IS FILLED UP ALREADY BUT I NEED THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE RECEIVER WHICH HE REFUSED TO GIVE THE NAME AT FIRST THEN AFTER SAYING CHECKING A " FILE" (I KNOW HE IS MAKING IT UP COZ IF THIS IS REAL HE WOULD JUST SAY "US GOV GRANT" ), AFTER A WHILE HE GAVE ME A NAME "HOMBAHADUR GURANG" ( WHICH I AM NOT SO INTERSTEDANYHOW) THEN I ASKED ABOUT THE RECEIVER'S ADD AND HE SAID NEVER MIND ABOUT THE ADDRESS. I TOLD HIM I WANT THAT THIS IS MY REQUIREMENT TO THE RECEIVER TO SECURE MY MONEY. HE SAID YOUR MONEY IS SECURED AND I WILL ALSO RECEIVE THE REFUND ALONG WITH $7000.00. AND I TOLD HIM I NEED YOUR  ADDRESS IN THIS FORM AND HE HANG UP....  :)
WE ALL KNEW IT'S FRAUD IF THERE IS ANY AMOUNT SOLICITED AND THE MERE FACT THAT THEY DONT GIVE  ADDRESS  AND US GRANT GOV DONT ASKED FOR ANYDIME COZ EVEN THE APPLICATION IS FREE. .. LISTEN TO YOUR GUT FEELINGS... DONT BE SCAMMED IF YOU KNOW IT JUST PLAY WITH THEM AND TRY TO GET ANY OF THERE INFO AND REPORT TO THE COMPANY /INSTITUTION THEY ARE USING.

I have received a tel. call from this no. from a man saying   that I have been selected to win a 7000 US and that he worked in the US Federal Gov. in Grants Department and he want to send me the Money..options to get the money  is to give him my bank account, visa cards no , or Cash thru western Union?.  i knew he is lying as I am a temporary  Visitor to USA ..he had an accent in his voice ..when I asked why I was selected ..he said becoz I have no criminal records  in the past 6 months (I ve been  in US. For 4 months only) and I pay taxes and (I don?t pay taxes at all as I am here as a temporary visitor) .. but I wanted to know where it will led .. so he asked me to go to western union and to pay 310 USD , for ID verification and I will get my money back 7301 . but I don?t know how they get my info. Tel.  no. Address and Name ?Take care!

WHAT A SCAM.... WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS WHERE DID THEY ACQUIRER MY PERSONAL INFOR MATION???   MY PHONE NUMBER IS UNLISTED....AND I LIVE IN A RETIREMENT CENTER. THEY KNEW WAY TO MUCH FOR MY COMFORT ZONE.... SINCE THEY KNOW MY ADDRESS ARE THEY GOING TO SHOW UP AT MY DOORSTEP AND SHOOT ME FOR REPORTING THEM????? THERE NEEDS TO BE AWAY OF STOPPING THESE CREEPS.

I had a few missed calls from this number, once a day every other day. I finally answered the call and I was told about a $7000.00 dollar grant that I didn't have to pay back. I knew this was a scam and I didn't follow up with these people.

THIS IS A SCAM. please people you all have to be carefull. they are liers. i recived a fone call from this same number and they told me i had been selected to recive 7,000 dollors because my family had low income. they new my name address i was scared. i sent them 301.00 dollers thru westen union. they told me i would be reciving 7301.00 to my master card. they lied NOTHING came in.

Well now they are doing this differently they are having a woman call from the Verification Department. She is going to verify your information to make sure you are the right person I mean victim.  Then she gives you the number to call with a code....INCREDIBLE!!!  I had a gut feeling but I wanted to see where this led.  I asked her to give me her phone but she kept refusing said that I wouldn't be able to reach her.  I wonder if they are playing on anyone who gives to the campaign.  Not sure how they would have all my address info. yes she recited my info to me. WHAT is the number to call so that I can report them?

I knew from the start that this was a scam, but I was in the mood to mess with people today.  And I recorded the entire conversation for giggles.  I could hardly understand what he was saying but long story short, He asked me to western union $323.00 for the deposit because there are a lot of SCAMS going on out there!  I asked him if the money was coming from Obama because he said it was coming from the goverment.  He said YES!  Then I asked where was Obama getting the money because are in a 17 trillion dollar deficit...was it coming from his personal account?  In the end when I told him he was full of s*** and he was a moron...he told me he has my address and the FBI was coming to my house.  Nice.

This phone number has to be a scam. They said they would give me $7000.00 dollars after going to the Western Union and putting in a deposit of $330.00 dollars, after further questioning from me the guy got all choked up and started getting mad at me and told me to just deposit the money quickly... Whoever this is should be stopped, I hope nobody goes through with this.

There is this guy name Albert Scott impersonating the Federal Government as grant provider.
I became alarm and contact the US Departmenrt of Labor.  If anybody recieved a call offering free money call the federal or state government. Make sure you give them all the information and don"t pay money to recieved money unless it's state lottery.  This is a scam.

I  RECEIVED A CALL FROM (202)905-0360. THEY WERE INFORMING ME THAT I WAS ELIGIBLE FOR A FEDERAL GRANT OF $7000.00 TO ATTEND SCHOOL. UNFORTUNATELY I FELL FOR THE SCAM AND SENT $200.00 TO THESE PEOPLE AFTER BELIEVING EVERYTHING THEY SAID TO ME, THINKING IT WAS REALLY THE GOVERNMENT. THEY THEN TOLD ME AFTER RECEIVING THE $200.00 WHICH THEY CLAIM IS A PROCESSING FEE, I WOULD RECEIVED THE $7000.00 FOR SCHOOL IN ABOUT 35-40 MINUTES. WHEN AFTER HOURS THE MONEY WAS NOT THERE I CALLED BACK AND THEN I WAS ASKED FOR ANOTHER $700.00. ONLY THEN I REALIZED SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER AGAIN AND IT'S BUSY...IT'S REALLY UNFORTUNATE BUT IT ALREADY HAPPEN...DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE...I WISH THERE WAS A WAY FOR ME TO GET THE POLICE AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INVOLVED...

I received a phone call from a Unknown Number on my phone...I answered it and they told me they were from the USA government in Washington and giving me a one time grant for $7,000 and all I had to do is call this number back and given them a code they gave me to get a cash grant from a Western Union.....I called my son who is a lawyer and he said that if the government was going to give me a grant it would be from a government office and it would be placed in  my bank like my disability payment...so NOT to call them.....help what is going on????? They said I had to use the money on only home improvements or paying bills, no unlawful things.
