I have been called several times from a Unknown number:   Today it was 526-789-45623.  I was told that I won grant of over $7000.00 and they wanted my visa or debt call number.   I gave them my saving account card number which is not a visa with a fake security number on the back.   I was told to call Ami Johnson to set everything up.    When I called her she verified every thing with me.  And before we got done with the call I told her that this is a scam and to stop calling me.   She hung up on me.  
I say if they are not going to fight for what they are selling then it is a scam.    The people that are calling are very persistant.

And guess what, the same people just called me about the same thing using a different number 239-719-1501 which is from Florida. They claim they're the federal government and the guy's name is Shawn. Don't fall for that. These people won't get away easily for committing government fraud.

If someone really gives you anything, they will NEVER ask you to pay. and NEVER give away credit/debit card info over the phone. That makes everything suspicious. Also, if at anytime anyone questions an e-mail or call, go to a nearby college/university. They'll be able to track all that information to verify it. So be safe everyone.

Got a call today from one guy from one number. He asked for my bank account # but i was suspicious so i gave him an old card number that i had. He told me that i had a grant for 7000 dollars and that i had to call 2029050508 and ask for annie johnson and he gave me a confirmation # of ak125. When i called annie johnson she asked for the code and told me that i would have to send them 290 dollars on a greendot card. Thats when i knew it was a scam because i just seen the night before on a story on how scammers are getting people to send money on a greendot card. When they told me that i exposed thrm and they got upset and started yelling saying its not a scam and i told them that i was reporting them to the FBI.

They told me I had to pay $290 to receive $7000 in my account. I told her that it was a scam and she got really mad so I just hung up. They are using walgreens and cvs.

*Annie Johnson (202) 905-0508. When i called it went to voicemail and she had a heavy accent as well... But when i spoke with chris watson, even tho i burned the card can they still steal my identity ? I asked hi "this isnt a scam where i have to pay u money to recieve iy right?" And he said no that i didnt have to pay anything back or pay anything for that matter. that he money was mine to spend on whatever i wanted.

I recieved a phone call a few weeks ago from the " treasury" or whatever, a man named Chris Watson (very heavy accent)  said he worked for the goverment. and I was owed $4,000 because i have good credit and no convictions on my record. Right off rip i knew it was a scam because I in fact have 7 covictions (misdemeanors) and my credit is s*** lol. I owe the collection agency thousands, a few utility companys n whatnot. I cant even get a phone unless its safelink haha. (im not proud was just really a dumb teen) But anywho i went along with it and gave him my pre paid card # n he said the money would be there i 45 mins. I actually forgot about it then remembereed the next day and checked the account and there was nothing. So i pitched the card into the wood burnibg stove and carried on with my day. Well about a half hr ago i got a call from a calvin dude and he said he was from                  the goverment refund association and said i needed to call an annie johnson

I got the same phone call today, just now and they somehow manage to get all of my information except for the SSN # which is good thing don't know...but the biggest question is HOW they got the information?

You would think that since this BASED in D.C the ACTUAL federal government would be cracking on these stupid scam calls but nope  

They called me saying the same thing and I paid them 290 and later they try to get $600 dollar in Oder for me to get 7, 849 dollars

I resive a call from mark william he said I was goin to resive $ 7,849 from us gov , gave me a coud and  #2029050508#to claim $ From Anny Donson she is very professional  but why they have all my info not good to scamm people I ask why I need to send $290 to resive anything that it saund like a fraud she said it was notso itold her tha I was goin to sand $ in 45 min let her sit n cramp her ... I hope the police get this people.

I got a call from a Robert smith saying i got a grant for 8500 dollars but i needed to pay 280 dollars as a security deposit. Am i gething scammed?

I received a call telling me I was to get 7000 grand from the government, they said they worked for the Government and all I needed to do was call to claim my funds. That I could not use it for anything illegal but I could pay off bills with it. They had all my personal information. They gave me a number GA 783 to claim my money. I called because nothing in life is free and I proceeded to asking questions. He told me I would be deleted and he couldnt help me anymore. He would not give me any info about the company other than he worked for the Government. I hung up on me. I called him back and he quit answering the phone. So now I call and it just rings and rings. This is uncalled for and I am not a happy person  at all that someone has my information. Can you fix this problem.
