I am getting continuous calls from these people and when I pickup there is noone there.  There must be something that can be done to get these people to stop calling

it is a company that askes you a bunch of product ???  Say no or it takes half an hour I can't say no I feel bad 38 min

We receive a call from this number at least 6 times a month. I called the local telephone company and they said I could sign up for a program that would allow me to block the number, for a small nominal fee. What they basically said was tough, suck it up and live with it. They REFUSED to do anything else. This is Frontier Corp a subsidiary of Citizens Communication.

Got 3 call from them today no one one there & upon return call no one answers do they check the do not call list?

I get calls from this number 2-3 a day. I can't take it anymore and to matters worse it is my cell phone they keep calling. it is so annoying I tryed calling back several times but no answer

Called again yesterday (despite them saying they would take me off the list).  I answered, but didn't say anything.  Woman came on eventually.  Turned out they were asking if I was still subscribed to my local newspaper.

I am sick of these calls from McMillen Ad Cor 203-481-4661 - I have told them repeatedly that I am on the Do Not Call list and have told them to stop. They ignore me and keep calling. I have decided to file harassment. I have a friend who told me these calls are punished via $500 per call.  I have documented everything and am thinking about earning a living by filing charges against these miserable companies that call you despite the fact that you have registered as someone they are not to call AND they don't stop when you politely and consistently tell them STOP!

Am getting 1-2 calls a week. No one on other end, and no one picks up if I call back.

Telemarketer continues to call and hangs up. I am on DNC list and have never done business with a McMillen Ad Cor. Others on this forum claim this is a telemarketer. Calls from 203-481-4661.

Call Vanessa at McMillen Ad Co. 203-315-1299 and insist that they Cease and Desist calling or you will report them to the Better Business Bureau.

ATTENTION Everyone: Do you want to earn $500 EACH and EVERY time they call you?  There are laws in place to stop this harassment.  20/20 I think, or maybe another news show had a program about a man who actually earned/earns a living prosecuting these people. Do as I am doing. I have told them to stop. I documented the date and time. EVERY single time they call after that, there is a $500 fine which is paid to YOU! If you would all just take the time to do this, not only would you be reimbursed your court filing costs, but you would earn damages/money, and best of all, ALL of these calls would stop. They have called me daily.  I am filing charges this week, the week of 4-14-2008. Do the same!  You must be on the Do Not Calls lists. I am on all of them. When you file charges against these people, take a print out (or a copy) with you of the verification page verifying your number is on the list of numbers these telemarketers are not supposed to call (that and the documented time and date they called you is your proof).  According to the news program, they just pay the fine. BUT if ENOUGH of you would JUST TAKE THE TIME TO DO THIS we can stop them permanently. DO IT!!! FILE CHARGES. They either send someone to represent themselves or they lose by default. PLEASE just file charges. They are not allowed to call your number if you are on the list of numbers not to call. It REALLY is just this simple. Okay? Please, just do it!

well I am gonna answer my own question cause I just found out who they are and all they want is for me to renew my subscription to the newwspaper

They have been calling constantly,  This is a form of harassment. Has anyone gotten to the bottom of who they are and what th4e f*** they want?

We have been getting at least 2 calls a day from this number for the past week.  Never leaves a msg, always hangs up when we answer.

They said it was for one of two possibilities: either the NY Post or Lawn Care.
They said they would take my number off the list when I asked.

I contacted McMillen Telemarketing at 203-315-4844. They admitted the calls were coming from them regarding newspaper subscriptions. They entered my number in a "Do Not Call" database. I suggest everyone else do the same.

They call then hang up as soon as you answer. I called them back and the phone just rings...then they had the gnads to call back and hang up a second time. Since when can a company (McMillan Ad Corp.) legally hire 5 year olds to work, isn't there a child labor law??

This number calls at least once a day in the evenings.  Sometimes as late as 8:30. We have had the same experience as noted above.    I will report these calls if they do not stop.

get calls from this # 1 or 2 times a week. I just add the number to my cell phone book and label it as junk call so i dont pick it up, doesnt stop the calls but saves me some time thinking about it

Get 1-2 calls every single day.  The caller id says McMillen ad corp.  I looked on google and saw it is a telemarketing company.  When I call back it just rings and rings.  Maybe with the name of the company we can do some research and find a different number to call them at to get taken off of their list.

Frequent calls.  Answered call, no response (on other end).  Ignored calls, no voicemail.  Called back, no answer.  I did get a cellular response, "The wireless caller you've dialed is.."

So, it might be a cell phone.  Not sure.  Want the calls to stop.
