This number (203-493-4953) keeps calling, I pick it up and no one answers.

This number is also calling my phone too.  I do not answer, I let the call go to voicemail and they never leave a message.
I dont know why this is happening, but this is very nerve wrecking and annoying.  I want it to stop!!!!

I am so tired of getting calls from this number. When they do talk they always ask for someone I've never heard of or they simple hang up. I get 3 or 4 calls almost every day. It is maddening. I get more calls from this number than anyone on my contact list!

Yes annoying to. Just fill out a online application and you get all these crazy college people calling you. Well they went to college and this is what they're doing for a living. Laugh out loud

Scam to sell you school info. Been called by same people on probably 10 different numbers.  Requested repeatedly to be taken off their call list. Very frustrating when you are hoping for a potential employer to call.

Calling me constantly early in the am, same time everyday, several times a day. I called back and told them to take me off the list, they said ok. Few days later I'm getting calls again. Incredibly frustrating.

I have received hang up calls all morning from these morons, along with numbers 606-981-0160 and 597-558-3717.

They keep calling me like 3 times a day ! I told him yesterday to take me off the call list now imma tell him I'm calling the police for harrassment!

I got a "forwarded" call from this number. I have been put on a list I guess about colleges and funding? I have asked repeatedly to be taken off of their call list and to be put on the no call registry. They tell me they have put my name on the do not call registry, last time they called I was told the person I was talking to was the call center manager blah blah blah, and that they wouldn't call again. I have been called six times in two days!

Called asked if I have mortgage payments .I told him none of you business and he hung up. Got another call and he left me a message asking for me personally

I tried calling back some of the numbers, and got that they were "disconnected" or "not in service".

I got suckered into their trap after signing up on jobs.com.

It's located in WESTON, CT, Phone Type: Landline and the Carrier is LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - CT. Since the accents are Indian, I imagine the calls are actually  re-routed from India.
Started getting these calls after searching for weekend Phlebotomy courses. It doesn't matter if I tell them I'm not interested, put me on the do not call list, etc., they still call. I got a call today, I told the guy he was not really with a school but trying to steal my identity. He hung up. He called a few hours later...I reminded him he had just called here with his education scam, and he said this time it was about car insurance. Sometimes the caller is a woman. Same. Some times when I answer no one is there, I have no idea why I get all these frustrating calls all of a sudden

Hi, Same thing with me here in CA. I recently was searching on the internet for University programs and entered my name on a site to be called with programs and shortly after is when the calls started. Very frustrating!

these people call all the time, everyday, 5 or more times. They don't speak English very clearly. Annoying as all hell. Asks about going back to school.

Calls at least 3 times a day. Always about going back to school. Scheming a cruel retribution plan for them like blasting a loud high frequency tones or something everytime they * call me.

Keep getting calls from this number.  When answered the first call no one spoke.  When returned call was told someone would be with me soon.  After about one minute  the disconnected. They continue to call me. I have since registered with the do not call list.

i saw a call from this number in my email messages; i had mistakenly clicked on some ad from gmail about going back to school.  i put my info/number and within 3 minutes started getting phone calls.  hi my name is (unintelligible) and i understand you want to take some college classes?  what kind?  then they connect me to a school, online of course, it turns out the tuition is more than Stanford or MIT.  this online school that i could get someone to do for me will only cost $90,000 would you like to sign up today?   geeeeezzz, i might as well goto Stanford or MIT

then weeks later i get a call and i know its from them because they get my name a certain way and claim the city i live in is where the internet provider is at, apparently how it came up for location???  they say congratulations you qualify for a one time government grant of $8000.00 you can use to go back to school.  then they say you can only use this for school or fixing up your home but not for gambling or alcohol.  would you like to apply??   good, so once again congratulations, how do you plan to use this money?  oh i will go right to school and use all of it only for school (fingers crossed behind my back)   we just need your bank account information to deposit this money into, so read me the account number please?  ok, so i gave them my bank acct #.  great, ok now we need to process this, it will take 20 minutes to transfer funds, and we will need you to pay for this by using the paypal green dot card, so go to the grocery store and get the green dot card for $600.00, then give me that number and we transfer the $8000 plus the $600 plus a useage refund of $47 so you will see a total of $8647.00 in your account within 20 minutes, okay?  i went to the store but they didnt sell the green dot anymore.  i asked why they cant take it from the bank account?  no we are a middleman and cannot withdraw from any bank...

anyway i called green dot and said if its a scam can i get my money back? no way, its just like cash, you better check it out first.  the attorney general website listed this as a total scam, so i stopped answering them.  

so if you get a call from this number, you may get the other (above) call as well.  

Kind of entertaining. I have the number blocked so it just continues "forwarding" it to nowhere. So far it's been over 10 minutes and they haven't hung up. Waiting to see how long it takes. Obviously some sort of scam company

that freaking do not call list crap does not work.  they'll figure ways around it.  system code calling.
