The owners name is matt Johnson, I worked for this company 13 years ago I left because I felt uncomfortable calling people for donations

Got a call from 203-538-0028 on my cell. Didnt answer it. No message was left on my voicemail. Did a search on the number. It's called "Funding & Development" out of Derby, CT. *67 call block - called them back - it was 11 am their time but they answered as "Good afternoon, can I help you?" - I asked for name of the company; the receptionist "Wendy" wouldn't answer.
This is a SCAM company - they call up residents in a town and say they are soliciting funds for their local police departments K-9 unit so their doggies will have bulletproof vests. The thing is, people have called their local PD's and found out they either have no K-9 unit or that the unit is fully funded and isnt soliciting donations.
I work for a financial company - I did more research and the company has several listings saying they have either 45 or 65 employees. Matt Thompson is listed as the owner. I gave it a week and called up - "Wendy" answers the phone again at 9am as "hello, can I help you?". I asked for the person who makes the financial decisions for the company. "Wendy" said "I do!" - I said wait a minute, your company has 65 employees, you answer the phone as "hello" and you make the finanical decisions for the company? Yeah, right. She insisted that was the case. I asked her for her title as my company was interested in making a donation. She got very evasive. She wouldnt give me her last name, her title, name of the company. I askd how can you expect me to make a donation and you won't give out legitimate information? The jerk hung up on me.
I gave it another week. "Wendy" answers the phone "Hello, can I help you?" I asked for Matt Thompson. Good ol' "Wendy" insisted that she's worked there ten years and they've never had a Matt or a Matt Thompson working there. I said he's listed as your company's owner. I asked name of company; Wendy wouldn't answer. I said that's okay, you are "Funding & Development" out of Derby CT. She hung up on me.

Fix their a$$es by giving out their number to every telemarketer you can think of. Inundate them. They have another number too - 203-924-9897.
