Another call 10:17 a.m. 3-28-14 - didn't recognize #; didn't answer; no message left.  Caller ID:  Survey - telemarketer to me

On Sat. 3/29/14 around 3:15 PM received call from 203-538-0959, which I did not answer because I was on my phone with another call. I would not have answers it anyway. They did not leave a message. About 40 minutes I received a call from 001-0000. They left no message. I have not tried looking up that #. If a person does not leave me a message, then I do not have to take their call,

I have received calls from this same scammer for almost 4 years. Everytime saying this is my second and final chance. 4 years .worth of second and final chances to lower credit card rates. I have no credit card debt! I will record all calls pertaining to scammers for the purposes of a lawsuit against them. Everyone needs to strongly urge their senators and congressman to push for laws to stop these calls. Remind them that elections are very strong tools for the public to use and if they enjoy their present status as congressman and senators or even governors they need to get on this harassment problem. Also remind your phone company that their existence is in the customers hands and they need to come up with a way to block these people for good instead of selling them numerous lines to use for these harassing calls.

I manage the phone system for the company I work for and he is receiving daily robo calls from this DID.

I got a call from 203-538-0959 and when I told the woman I was on the do not call list and for her to take my name off her call list immediately, she responded:  "f*** you!"  
Why are cops busy menacing pot smokers and can't reach out and jail these people?  Is it the cop pay off?

I keep records of all these scammers.  my phone blocks 30 numbers.  Every month I clean out the calls who have not repeated.  Then I start over again.   This site is great so I always check before I delete.   DO NOT PRESS 1 and do not talk to them.  If you are by a phone, pick it up and hang up immediately!    

I totally agree with you.  I started a "book" about a year ago and have recorded numbers monthly.   as they get to 30 which my phone can block, I delete the earliest numbers who have not repeated.  I leave 5 spaces empty for new numbers.    Today I got this call and the phone happened to be right next to me  I picked it up and disconnected immediately.    Any calls dealing with anything financial the do not call registry does not work.   I contacted the Consumer Financial protection Agency (CFPA.gov) I filed a complaint on line and they have to answer it to the Agency.  Only a legit company will reply.  The others ignore it.    By the way, I have over 500 numbers in a little over a year, I kid you not!

"Card Services" is very slippery.  Even though some have apparently received sentences, other scammers like that name so much, they use it too.

You can't stop them from calling, but you can block their calls from reaching you.

Simply get a phone number blocking service, app or device.

Oh brother!  I've been getting the "This is your final notice" or "Credit Card Services" -- always a robocall for a couple of years now.  I also tried to speak to a person to tell them I'm not interested, and they slammed the phone in my ear.  I so wish there was something we could do to stop these calls.  I wish these people would GET A LIFE!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Was not a 'Survey' at all but was the SCAM vermin Card Member Services.
This was their regular message about lowering your interest rate and directed me to press the 1.
I pressed '1' and nothing happened (regarding switching to a live person). The message started over from the beginning
again so pressed 9 and 1 but message still continued. Started over a 3rd time pressed numerous numbers and still no live person. I was not going to wait until the end of the 3rd message when they finally say 'goodbye' and disconnected so hung up.

My theory is this is one of the SCAMMERS type of calls to call back people who have wasted the SCAMMERS time etc - just a different method of harassment continued by these SCAMMERS.

Received call AGAIN from 203-538-0959 stating final notice. I pressed 1and waited to speak to a person.  When someone came on,  I stated that I am on do not call list. Person hung up before I finished my statement.  WHAT A SCAM!!! Wonder how to stop these calls.

When the recording said ... "this is your final notice" ... I wish it was true.

I told them to take me off of their list.  She asked me if I even knew why they were calling - I said yes and that I didn't care as I was sick of being interrupted with their endless calls.  She said with my attitude I could expect even more calls than I was currently receiving.  I said something nasty and hung up.

Call 2:06 p.m. 3-21-14 - No message left - caller ID:  Survey  - To me:  Telemarketer

10:28 a.m. call on 3/21/14.  ID said 'Suvey".  Call was about lowering my credit card interest.   have NO credit cards.  I get many "this is your final notice" calls from at least 12 different phone numbers. What do they get out of this?  Do they get paid to annoy me?  I would NEVER be stupid enough to give out personal info - banks accts., income, social security number, etc.  Even if you press "9" so they won't call again, they do call again.  If I say NO once, that's final, I'm done!  If they are calling to find out my schedule, are they planning robbing my home?  If they tried to rob my home, they would be surprised how poor we really are -- low-income seniors with lots of hospital bills, doctor bills and prescriptions and one foot from stepping in our graves!  I love the golden years!!!!!!

I like your idea. I wonder if a really loud whistle would do the job.

I pressed '1' and a gal came on the line and asked if I responding to lower my interest rates. I told her "Yes, I am"- then I responded with my SCAMMER HORN. Boy do they bail quickly.

Touché.  I prefer the default Cisco integrated systems hold music.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Just got a call from this number, spam caller. Figured next time you just dont answer if its important they will leave a message for you to call back. Cant block every call cause they will find away to use another number to call you back on. Even had them spam calls from my local home town. Everyone gets upset for them calling but they are just doing there job like everyone else. Like I said just hang up or try and remove your #. Nothing in this world will ever get any better, :( Wish this was a place to complain about loud cars or boomboxs at 3 in the morning. HAHA <GOOD LUCK ALL>.

@ 11:58 I received a call from this number caller ID said "Survey". I didn't answer. @ 11:59 I received a call from 513-229-9274 caller ID said "Ohio" didn't answer this one either. Coincidence?  I don't think so. Adding both numbers to my junk fax log so that when they call again, the fax machine will recognize them as junk faxes and disconnect the call. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Get a call from this number almost daily--So annoying!  I have no idea who it is, if I answer, nobody says anything.

This is the third call I've gotten today from three different numbers--the scammers must be rotating the caller ID they're using.  I just blocked this one, like I did the other two. I have this happen every now and then--every couple of weeks they call for a couple of days, I block each one as they come in, then it stops for a couple of weeks and starts over again--multiple times a day for a couple of days. I guess I need to start keeping a spreadsheet so I can spot the pattern and figure a way to just send everything to voice mail some days of the month.

They called again today.  It seems like we get four or five calls like this every day from 9 am to 9 pm.  For fun, I decided to press 1 to talk to a representative. If I have the time, I like to waste their time as much as possible.  The woman was well spoken and stuck to her script. If I had to guess, I'd say she had a mid atlantic accent.  It took her about 30 seconds to realize I wasn't a sucker and she hung up on me when I asked if she was calling from my credit card bank.  I sounded interested so I imagine they assess the risk of the sucker on the other end of the line and just nuke the call if you don't sound extremely gullible. Any reasonable question will probably lead to termination of the call.  I so wish I could get the home phone numbers or email addresses of these vermin.  It would be great sport

A search result for a similar phone number gave me a comment that worked to stop these persistent calls; 866-246-7196.  You give the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list that they provide this service for and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list.

They call & let it ring a few times.  They don't leave a  message.  Thanks again "DoNotCall.gov"...

Yeah, when we were going to "alarm" the alarm company, we also found this number on our machine. Man, I love that caller ID and reverse lookup. We get at least 1 call every day or two from the "rates and payments". I never answer the phone unless I recognize the caller and I delete the message almost as soon as I hear rates.....

Financial stimulus.... Blaugh Blagh   Called back, Message said press any key to get off of list. Hope it works and they stop calling.
