Just block this number, as I did.  I use google voice - their are dozens of other services that will do the same.  If everyone takes action on every number, every time, it can shut down the telemarketing industry virtually immediately.  Simply report and then block.  If you get a lot of spam calls, jot the numbers down and block once a day.  The volume of trash calls you get will decrease as your number gets dropped from their lists, and you will have helped yourself and everyone else to make the scourge of telemarketing a thing of the past.

Called my business landline with no ID except numbers. According to PrivacyStar the listed ID for this is BARR GROCERY ST.  whatever that is. PrivacyStar has had 195 people look this up, 17 blocked it and 21 complaints and these are Cell phone users! I never answer unless I know the caller so it just rings and rings.

This is a small business. We are very busy and do not have time for prank and unimportant phone calls.

This company calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. When the call is answered, they play a recorded message with no operator on the line in further violation of the TCPA. When you do get to an operator, the operator hangs up if you request a physical address - which the TCPA requires them to provide. The recording claims that you have been pre-qualified for a discount business loan in the amount of $250,000, but the second question the operator has for you is what your monthly revenue is - indicating that you have not been qualified. This is clearly a scam to get information and possibly provide high-cost predatory loans. Do not provide this scammer any information.

Calls me repeatedly and just hangs up. Cannot call number back

This is the 2nd time they had called me, I also didn't pick up was afraid to be charged something that I didn't order.  Robocalling should be Illegal as 1 person has stated!!!  I have them blocked on my line.

Go back to the Do Not Call Registry site. There you can report them to the Federal Trade Commission. They can be fined up to $11,000.00 per complaint. I have had good success stopping unwanted solicitations on my phone. You will need to note the date and time of each call. If you are called multiple times, report all of those calls individually. It may take a few days but the calls will stop.

They call and say my business qualifies for a loan. I don't have a business or want a loan.

Spammers disrupt my business all day long. Wish there were laws with teeth in them.  Grrrrrrr.

Whenever possible I take the time to harass them. I call them repeatedly and they don't like it!!!!! On this number I get a busy. Maybe they are outsmarting me.

I received a call it came up as Barr Grocery Store. I was on the phone, so didn't get it. Called back because Donald Duck needs to make sure that business keeps running smoothly. I didn't want to leave a customer hanging if they needed what I sell. No one picked up when I called. So, I thought I would see what happens when I look up the # . Donald Duck does not have time to mess around with people who waste his time. Ya know what I mean....

make sure you submit a complaint with donotcall.gov and explain the details. They will get them.

Same thing, answered my cell and they hung up.

DEMAND that your phone service block and cancel phone priviledges to spammers.

If you have a smart Iphone, you can block this number from calling you again.  Just look at bottom of the call record and select block calls...works like a charm.

First a taped message offering small businesses up to $250,000 within 2-3 days as long as you have been in business for at least 3 months plays and then they pick up the phone. I was lucky enough to get someone that sounded like they had a mouth full of marbles and when i asked what company they were he said "Rapid Capital Funding". I asked if they were a bank and he said no. I asked for information on the company and their web site and he stumbled all over himself and hung up.

Total scam of course but they should be investigated and locked up ... do not give them ANY information on you or your business.

5:47 pm on 5/20/14 - Just got a call from them and didn't answer. Came up on my caller ID as Bridgeport CT. I live on the other side of the country and don't know anyone from CT. Is it really a telemarketer? for what?

got a call from 203-610-6277.  I work customer service for a private company, so when I went through my CSR spiel, they hung up on me!  How rude!   Showed up as Bridgeport CT on my CID, I assume telemarketers.
