I called the number back and the person on the other end said they were doing a fund raiser for the frateral order of police. Immediately started asking for pledges......etc. I NEVER give charitable contributions to such calls! I give locally to humans and addresses I am sure of. It seems with all the scams out there the police would have better tactics to raise funds, if in fact the caller was doing what he was claiming. Doubtful!!!

I got a call from the same # with just a single 1 in front of it. Id says call is from bridgeport as well.

The funny thing about this number is that the number 11 is in front of it. So the whole number in my Caller ID list looks like this: 11 203-610-6427 It appears to be coming from the Bridgeport area. I did not call it back as it is listed as Name not Found

Called from Bridgeport, CT for some police benevelent association. Told them we are on Do Not Call list and even if they're excused from that to please not call again.
