Primerica is a MLM
It is a GREAT way if you want to get into the financial business sector .. they will help you get all of your financial licenses and help you understand them from auto/ life insurance to your series 6 and how to do Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, Annuities.

the bad part is that they do not advertise like met life, prudential, travelers..etc
so that they come across as a scam and instead of having a call center that has people calling into look for products they want you to go up to people in malls and do cold calling ... and since this is a MLM..you make extra money on the reps that you bring in .. some offices are product sellers and others are recruitment offices..both ways pay off but after you have gone through your warm list of people you know it gets tough unless you have that salesman trait in you ... it's an interesting gig bu they need a lead generator otherwise you just flounder as you try and reach the top ...otherwise if you are looking for a confident boost..for $99 its a GREAT way to get your financial licenses then you can jump ship and hit the big boys that advertise and get your own piece of the rock

Checked my voicemail and had a saved message from a Sue Collard.  Said that I was highly recommended and was wondering if I was interested in changing careers.  Said my previous employer had recommended me.  Funny thing is, I am a college student who works as a freaking golf caddy during teh summer.  I highly doubt the caddy master recommended me for a "job" like this.  I am at school in South Carolina so if I do get to talk with this person, I will invite them down to SC to interview me if they really want me that bad.  Was so confused when I heard this voicemail though.  Glad to see I'm not the only one in this situation though.

Just got a message on my cell phone ( i'm on the do not call list...) from 203-651-0021.  Sue Pollard at ext. 15.  Something about job offers etc.  I've had the same job for 25 years and I'm not looking for any changes.  So it sounded like an obvious telemarketer call.  Glad I didn't answer the call and glad I found this website to find out the truth!!  Thanks

Just got a call from Steve Mirkawitz. Same schpeel.  I had a feeling it was a scam as I have not put anything up with job recruiters for at least a few years (in grad school now). He told me he got my number for a job recruiter. When I pressed on him which one he told me he didn't have those details.  THAT IS BECAUSE HE NUMBER HE CALLED ISN'T WITH ANY JOB RECRUITERS. He wouldn't tell me anymore details and then just rudely goes.  He tells me how he is with Primerica, lookig to expand blah blah blah and that they are with CITI group. I know that's not true as I looked up primerica during the conversation. I asked him since the company is listed as an Multi Level Markerting company is he aware that he works for what is mor ecommonky known as a pyramid scheme and that such things are illegal in CT? I then asked if he was familar with who Barry Madoff is?

At this point I know he was pissed that I figured it all out (not my first rodeo with this sort of stuff) as he then rudely barks back at me "look are you searching for a job or no, I have other calls coming in I need to take?"  I told him absolutely not, lose the number, tell the recruiter to lose the number and if I ever get a call back from them I am reporting them to the state's attorney and filing with the FTC that they are running a pyramid scheme. The line then went dead.

Primerica ia a NYSE company. I joined Primerica and it is a great company. I am now licensed with the State of Ct. for Insurance  and also have my Financial Advisor license. I was able to do this part time without giving up my job. Most of the posts here are from our competition.  Do your research on credible sites. Check out Jim Cramer\ Primerica on you tube.  Or the National forum/Primerica on you tube, you will see Sernator Blumenthal talking about Primerica.
It's to bad people try to discourage others from a real opportunity.

Sue Pollard wanted to know if I was looking for employment and to call her back at
203-651-0019...ext 24.  She called on June 26.  Of courses I didn't call back.  She did not state the name
Of the company...red flag...so I googled it and
Happy to learn the information.

I received a cell phone message from a Sue Pallard from 203-651-0018 ex 15.  She did not say my name or the company name, which I found odd. She said she was referred to me and said she was looking to expand and was wondering if I'd like to make a career change or work part time in Connecticut.   This whole message was strange since I have not been looking for jobs (and certainly not one in the insurance or finance business as this website suggests the company is). I was not going to call her back anyway, but I was curious and looked up the number online and found this website.

By the way amber you are amazing!!!
You found out that Primerica is a pyramid???
You should tell the 50 banking commissioners, 50 insurance commissioners, FINRA, SEC,
And of course the 50 attorney generals for all the states.
Because they must not know.   LOL

Go to fox news Primerica on you tube, or Jim Cramer on Primerica also on you tube.
Funny how the people that complain can hide behind there computer and throw mud at Primerica.
Use common sense and check the state insurance dept, FINRA which handles securities, and the BBB.
If that doesn't do it for you, wish you the best.
By the way rip off report did a 6 month investigation on Primerica and got a very positive rating. They also found the blogs that were posted were from competitors.
Don't let the competitors stop you from a great opportunity.
Think for yourself and don't let someone else do your thinking

I got rid of my house phone as well!  I got the same message from a woman, needing people to help in the hiring and training department,  they work for some investment company, and are on the NYSE.  I read these threads and called them back to cancel my 11 o'clock appt. with them.  I really want to know how they got my number.  I don't have my cell number on any resume.  I don't get it, is AT&T giving out my number?  Is it my college?  I really want to know.

This Company is hiring people for a BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY... It is NOT for a job position which most people who are employees are accustomed to. This business shows people how to transition from being an employee to become a business owner where you need to meet new people to expose the business that you are in, which is why people are being contacted. The reason why most people will not at least look at the opportunity is because they are afraid of something different.

Imagine: Someone asked you asked you to work with a company who makes donuts and told you that you make money whenever you sell donuts. Immediately red flags in your head will go off because its something out of the norm. You search and look vigorously for anything that will discredit this claim and you will settle for anything you find, even a website where any "Joe Shmo" with an internet connection can comment. Once you find the negative accusation you were searching for. You feel gratified because you saved yourself from looking outside the box. (Winning?....Wrong).. You later found out that this business went on to be the biggest donut distributor in the world (Dunkin Donuts). You find that you actually robbed yourself of being a part of a big opportunity because you "researched" it on a unregulated website where anyone can comment and settled for staying inside the safe routine zone because others can't see themselves doing different things.

My point being is if your research only consists of Googling and seeing what comes up, its not research. For those who are religious, Google God and see what comes up. If you only base your decisions on what google pulls up then Google "Company with the most six figure earners" and see what you get. Ladies and Gentlemen do real research and stop making statements based on misinformation or no information..

I know that many will comment and try to discredit my statements because that's what some people do they just sit and find anything to discredit someone..My comment is not intended to stir up an argument its to hopefully put some questions and uncertainty to rest. Thank you

It's a beautiful thing when scammers come here whining defensively because the site is cutting into their scam. Go on, keep trying to divert from the fact that you're a lying scammer who misleads people who need work. Keep babbling about donuts and competitors and more BS that makes you look even more desperate to cover up the obvious truth.

so my bf got a call from this number he is unemployed and we live right near the place so he calls me and tells me someone wants to hire him I say for what kind of job? he says well they said they would rather explain it to me in person..Um ok. so he goes. I tell him DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO BEFORE THEY TELL YOU WHAT THIS IS IN CASE ITS A SCAM!  so he goes to the interveiw and before he is even told anything he is asked to give the names and numbers of five people! to which he refuses they say well you can come in anyway. they then tell him he will be training people to sell insurance which he has no experiance with his own five people. He said he couldnt do anything without checking things out first which leads me to this message board. I find it so sad that they pray on people who are despratly seeking work SICK

Primerica is a pyramid scheme. You have to sell insurance etc to people you know or meet. Once you run out of family & friends willing to help you out, you're out of luck. That's why they cycle through reps so quickly. If you're looking for a legitimate full time career, this is NOT the place you want to work.
