Calls are getting more regular.  I am on a DO NOT CALL list and have reported it to the FCC.  There should be some way to stop this.

Injuneer is 100% correct. These people are using some poor saps phone number to get into your wallet! All these numbers are "spoofed" for goodness sake, don't call them back to see who they are! If it was a friend of yours they would have left you a message right? Ask them were they are calling from, they don't even know, or they make up a city name. I received a call, knew the prefix city and she gave a made up name. I called her on it, of course she hung up on me. Area code 203 services over 50% of the small state of Connecticut, the other area code is 860. Wake up sheeple, don't give these dirtbags access to your money or information.

I just take every scam call I get and put them in my contacts, as "SCAM" that way, I know not to bother when they come up.

I get two or three calls a day on my cell phone from this number, but I don't pick up when it rings.  Tried calling back from another phone to see who keeps calling, but a recording says "this phone number has been disconnected".  How the heck can I be getting calls from a disconnected number, every single day?!?

The company using this number calls me daily regarding refinancing my home.   I have never contacted them for any reason and I find their calls to be annoying.

You really need to read through the posts above to understand what is going on. Why would you call an unknown phone humber back BEFORE checking to see who it is????  They did NOT call you from 203-659-9143.  That is just a "spoofed" caller ID, achieved by using VoIP switching.  They don't care if you have a mortgage.  This has nothing to do with a mortgage.  They want to get you to give them personal info over the phone, like a credit card # or a SS#, so they can rip off your credit card or steal your identity.  THEY ARE SCAMMERS.  DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.  DO NOT PRESS A NUMBER TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST.  *******IT DOES NO GOOD******.  IGNORE THE CALLS.

They called 3 times within 1 minute and did not even leave a message.

Receive several calls a week from this number on my business line, no one ever responds. CB gives me "disconnected number" message.  I answer and put them on hold now; it's reduced the amount of times they call.

Your scamming callers do not maintain this site or this web page. No callers can magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. Criminals who mass-dial and violate the Telemarketing Sales Rule have no plans to stop calling you no matter what you say and regardless of your DNC registrations. They need first to be sued or jailed.

Got them to pick up once by dialing ex. 123.  When i press operator the message just starts from the beginning.  Few days ago got one from 701-253-0080.  Probably the same company.  Try to get Your mortgage redone through HARP.  Most loan modifications just take Your money and leave You worse off.  The HARP thing worked for me but i had to approach the Lender i was currently making payments to.  Something about Freddie Mac or the P.M.I.  Can't believe it went through.  My interest went from 7 3/8 to 4.482.  Knocked $180. from my payment.  Got scammed by Quicken.  $400.00 fee with $100.00 to be returned if it didn't go through.  The house didn't appraise and They kept the $400.00 saying the appraisal was $480.00.  I was told the cost would be $300.00 by the Quicken Rep. which is about the going rate in Houston.  I could have gotten the loan @ 4.625 if i put $10K down plus the $3800.00 Quicken was adding to the loan balance.  The HARP program added $4700.00 but paid 2012 taxes.  Try HARP before You try modification.  Very few work out.  SCAMMERS

Robo-calls can't be stopped by the Do Not Call list, it's a computer program that dials every possible combination of numbers.  As frustrating as that is, and as much of an infringement as it is on your privacy, there isn't much that can be done to stop them right now.  Just don't answer your phone if you don't recognize the number - if they leave a message, fine, you may find out who it is.  If they don't, it's not an important call, so let it go.  I see how frustrated everyone is, but please, stay calm.  If the "people" behind these projects were viable, they would be trying to make a living in an honest way
