They call me 4 or times a day.  I am really getting tired of it.  I wish they would quite calling.  I just called and they finally answered I asked how they got my cell phone number and they told me the phone book and then the internet.  I thought cell phones are supposed to be unlisted.

I have been getting NUMEROUS calls a day from 203-797-3222.  My number is on the state of Iowa no call list and the Federal no call list, but that does not seem to have stopped these calls!

I get calls from this number every single day.  Sometimes 2 or 3 calls -- BACK TO BACK.  I had an account with Scholastic for a couple months over two years ago, and have told them to stop calling.  Yet I get calls every single stinking day.  It's getting very, very annoying.

I've been getting calls from this number for about the past month, and from reading some of the comments I bet I know why.  I signed up for a children's book club and when the books came I discovered they were of poor quality, I cancelled.  Now the daily calls.

I get calls from these people 3 and 4 times a day!  Who are they and what do they want?

I did a reverse search and it came up as Robert Spiro New Have Ct. Owner of Ivy STylus.

I am tired of getting these calls.

Can we stop this??  They call 5/6 times a day!  We already signed the do not call list.

I just received my second call from this number. The first call was on April 8, 2008 at 5:44pm. Today's call was at 10:41am. I searched the phone number on 411.com. It listed the following information:

I get calls from this number 203 797 3223 3-4 times a week at work.  They never leave a message. How do I stop this number from calling all the time?

The 203 number calls me about 5-6 times a day, with its automated message.  I kept forgetting to call it back until today.  It goes to a call center in Missouri, that receives 50 different line.  Before I presses 2 for existing account, it said it was Scholastic.  The lady I spoke with took my number and looked it up, and said it was not even in the system!!!!  She claims my number is being dialed in error.  She said she will put it on the Don't Call list, so we'll see if it stops.....

Keep Calling me all the time. Don't know who it is or what they want.

Phone number is on my caller is daily. I simply called the number back, hit option # 2, spoke with Joyce, asked Joyce to put me on the do not call list, and she did - stating it will take 48-72 hours to be completed. This all took about 2 minutes, literally, of my time and is worth it.

This is Scholastic Book Comp and I ordered something from them once, PD by phone, and at that time informed I was not goin to make further purchases. It's crazy how these people call on a consistant basis.

I made the mistake of giving scholastic my cell. They have been calling twice a day for nearly two weeks. This includes Sundays! I finally got a cell phone that has the ability to reject calls and it has stopped. There should be a law against this kind of harrassment.

I too have been getting calls from this place 3X/day like clockwork for the past 2 months. and no response when I do pick up the phone. I too am on the federal do not call list. I cannot think of any reason this company would have to call me. I took the advice of the person above and called the number,pressed 2, and got Sherri after being on hold 2 minutes. She said she did not show my number in her database, but she put me on their no call list and also informed me it may take 48 hours. We shall see-it would be so worth it to not have to dread the phone ringing and to have to take the time to interrupt what I'm doing to go look at the caller ID and get frustrated!
Don't know if this has anything in common with any of the other folks filing a complaint, but last time this happened in a similar fashion it was a company called IDSafe, and they were able to put 3 charges through on my fiances visa. Now this started 2 months ago, and I just had 2 fraudulent charges on my visa-for a computer and software on the day Grand Theft Auto 4 came out. If you google the name this number reverse look-up is listed for-Robert Spiro in Danbury or New Haven, CT, you'll find he has a profile on Amazon linked to revies of 2 DVD of animes. Anyone else have similar experience to this?

started getting these calls today WTF???

I would like you to stop calling me-- not sure what you want but stop calling.  I think it is also absurd you call at all hours of the night!! including weekends.

I am an abused mother of 2 young children hiding from a crazy ex husband and these people called and without knowing who I was gave out my complete name an address over the phone for verification.  I am going to contact my childrens school in the morning and let them know that if this is the type of relationship we are going to have with Scholastic they seriously need to rethink the relationship! I called and asked to be removed from their call list and was told it would take several days! I do not need people that I don't know and trust tracking me down and not give me a reason for the call! Way too scary!

I just received one of the calls and when my answering machine picked up, they hung up. Did the reverse number look up and it said it was Robert Spiro at Ivy Stylus. I have never done business with this company nor do I plan too.
If it is connected to Scholastic, I have no idea how they got my number.

I keep getting calls from them, as well. I didn't know who it was until now. Thank you! I thought it was a recruiter since I am actively job searching right now. Weird stuff. I am a Scholastic customer. So, not sure why they'd be calling me to sell me stuff. I've already bought idiots!

As I was reading these comments and guess what they called me again, but this time I answered the phone. The are telemarkers for Scholastic and were trying to sell me books. During her long introduction I told her to "stop" "I'm not interested and please stop calling my phone. Then she responsed ok ma'am we will add you to our do not call list. How weird was that and I was getting these calls from my cell phone. Hopefully I wont get any more calls...only time will tell.

I am over these people 5 times a day- wasting my minutes!!

Stop calling my home!

I have been receiving atleast 10 calls a day on my cell phone and its weird cause I have not given out my cell phone number. I never have answered but it still keeps calling. I myself receive books from one of their book clubs but intend on cancelling as soon as my agreement is up.

really just so yall know... if you've inquired through school or have ordered from scholastic before it gives them every right to call you.... the only thing you need to is call the number back if you see it on your caller id and call them ask nicely to please have your number removed and the rep will... IT DOES TAKE 24-72 HOURS TO GET THE NUMBER REMOVED! IF ANY BUSINESS CAN GET A NUMBER REMOVED INSTANTLY LET ME KNOW... also the automatic dialer is only able to contact you 3 times so when you say it calls you 5 times you need to go back and regroup! the reason its calls back is that if you do not answer it calls back at a later time to hope to reach you then... IF YOU DON'T CALL AND NOTIFY YOU DON'T WANT TO BE CONTACTED HOW ARE THEY TO KNOW?

I keep getting calls from these guys multiple times a day, and night and it's been four days now!  They call and if I answer it's dead space. Grrr!  tried to call the Scholastic 800 number, and the automated dude says they are closed!  At 4:00 in the afternoon!?  The first time I called the 800 number, the hours of op. were 8:00-11:00pm! whatever. I'm tired of it.

This 203-797-3222 number was driving me up a wall. then I called scolastic inc and they gave me this number. 1-800-955-9877. It is there home division. i guess when we got books from school we gave them the right to call us. i will have to reveiw one of the book forms. I did call that number and they said they took me off the call list. it will take 48 hrs to get throught the system. ( need to upgrade I say. It should be instant)
