Toyota Financial will call any relative of or any friend of a person who may be owing or not owing, on their auto loan.  They harass everyone they call hoping to persuade someone to settle for that person or divulge information about that person. They get information about relatives or ex spouses through public phone records and referrals their customers are required to list.  Once you tell them you have no loan nor even own a Toyota, or ever have, and won't discuss info about anybody else in the world, they promise to take your name off of their call list but that never happens!  They are breaking every law there is in California for debt collection practices.
Because of these practices, I would never buy a Toyota so I hope they are game for loosing a lot of business by people who have been peed off by their disrespect and disgusting phone tactics! They should be sued for this!  

I believe this person must be some sort of psychopath and frankly I am going to report him to the police if he ever calls me again. He has been calling all week, multiple times per day. Today I finally answered and could get nothing intelligible out of him, so I wrote him off as a freak, told him he had the wrong number, and said I would call the cops if he ever called me again. I see people saying this is some Toyota Financial number but I have not taken out any loans with them and have never done any sort of business with them before, have no idea why they would be calling me if it even is someone from that company. It did not sound like a professional business call. To me, it sounds like a pervert who wants to get his rocks off by calling random girls all hours of the day.

This number has been calling me all week multiple times per day. I said "hello" and he said "hello" and would not say what he wanted. Then I began to get a little weirded out and said politely, "you have the wrong number." What he replied was unintelligible and I could not make sense of anything he was saying. Finally I just yelled that he had the wrong number and threatened to call the police if he calls back. It is not an empty threat, I assure you.

I get about 6 or seven calls from this number right after I get my online pay notifications from Toyota. They have never identified as being Toyota, and if they do leave a message, it's extremely vague... They don't even give a name. The other thing I find strange is I get calls from the same #, but every time my phone id's in a different state.

Initially I received a call from 978-244-2256  they asked for my brother.  I advised my brother of the call and he called them to see what they wanted, it was Toyota Financal, but neither he or myself have an account with them or financed any of our cars with them in the past.  Toyota also could not locate us in their system and advised they would place our phone numbers on their do not call list.  This is so odd, and makes me nervious that someone is using our credit information.  I got another call this time from 203-926-2526 #, same message asking for a person with the same name as my brother. Checked the number called it and it was Toyota Lexus finance again. Spoke to Patrick advised him he has the wrong number and that neither of us have ever had an account with them. Advised him that they we had been told that we would be placed on a no call list , he offered to add us to that list again, but i asked if they even did that after the first request. he even checked and said my phone # is not in the account system, but there was a match to my brothers name and if we just give them my brother social security number they could clear it up. Me nor my brother feel comfortable giving that info to them over the phone. Not sure how to get them to stop calling me! I did manage to get him to tell me what state the person they were looking for was in and it not a state either of us live in.  This whole thing is so bizarre and annoying .

Thanks for letting me know this number is connected with Toyota Financial.  Like the rest of you, they have no reason to be calling and never leave a message.  I am current on my loan and have NEVER been late on a payment.  This will be the last time I finance through them, that's for sure.

I just got a call from this number... I'm so confused because I'm a seventeen year old who drives a fourteen year old volo passed down to me from my cousin. Why is Toyota calling me?

Toyota Credit they called at 8:02 am wow! Glad I don't owe them anything they had the wrong number but, still way too early for a wrong number.

These a***oles call my number 8-10 times per day. And considering the only car that my boyfriend and I have is a Ford, this is ridiculous. They don't call to get an answer, it's just to harass you. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They don't even know who they're harassing, they just assume that it's someone who owes them money, and they're walking a very fine line on my last nerve.

It's Toyota Financial.

If it TF or their separate collection corp. the person they are calling about died over 2 years ago and the car was returned to Toyota.  The car and loan was in the deceased's name only.

This is the only Toyota we know of. We own other brands lien-free.

10 CALLS A DAY, WON'T STOP???

Called 10 times a day beginning at 8:14 a.m.  no voice mail was left and the calls continue.

I received 5 calls from this number yesterday and one at 9:30 am this morning with no voicemails left at all. I didn't know who it was so I decided to google the number and found this. Good thing I never answered those calls.. Next time they call I'll be letting them know I'm going to report them!

A man started to call me three days ago, from number 203 926 2526. He gave me 4-5 calls per day at different times. He never left me a voice message.

Yesterday, November 19, 2010, I answered and I asked him who he is and what he wants. A dark, then he called again and said: "Yes, listen! Can I help you?" He said he is the one company representative, but he spoke very quickly and I did not understand the company name.

He said he wants to talk to my husband, whose full name he knew. I told my husband is not home and not responding never to this issue. Today he called again 3 times. It is only at 4.00 pm I suppose, that up to 10.00 pm will probably still call me 2-3 times.

We found the number on the google, and I found here the messages of other people. I supposed then he called me for the same reason, because my husband bought a Toyota four years ago, but the car is fully paid. We do not have any arrears. On the contrary we paid more at each mounth and did paying the car faster than the initial term.

I have not signed anywhere for this car. I don't have a contract with Toyota Financial, just my husband bought this car and has paid in full. This guy no have any reason to call me. They called my at my cell phone.

for those who need to know a creditor is only aload to call 3 times daily for one acct. also i believe that arent aload to call before 9 am.  you dont have to answer the call or return the call.

They called my house looking for someone who had the Ph # years ago and I told them that but they call everyday.  I hate the fact they will not stop calling us since we got this number 2.5 years ago it has been terrible who ever the Rodriguez person was who they keep calling for.  I am about to cancel my phone service.

Im so glad I found this forum after just putting in the numbers into google. All my payments are fine, but they call so many times a day, I was wondering where the number even came from. These people who call never leave a message whats so ever and are calling from out of state. I dont even give them the respect to answer if they are calling me past 8 p.m or if they cant even leave a message stating what the calls about. At least I learned in this site that its from or not from toyota.

I've been getting calls from them for the last month. Its an automated voice message telling me that my lease is about to end. This would be great notification if for me if I actually had a car! There is no number I could call back. And this number is their third number calling me. I've already blocked two of their numbers. They just keep popping up with more numbers. Isn't that harassment? When I call back there is no answer. Since its automated there is never a message. I'm tired of this! They call twice a day. SOMEONE HELP ME!

I keep getting the phone call but do not answer it because they call while I'm at work and then they call again at 9:45pm Central Time.  I'm sorry but I don't answer the phone after 8pm for anyone and I don't ever answer a phone call when the number isn't programmed into my phone.
They do not leave a voice message so which makes me definitely inclined to not call them back or answer the phone.

They are calling you because you cosigned the loan.
You both share an equal responsibility with this contract.
If I were you, I would return the call and ask what the issue is.
It may be somthing minor. The reason your being deluded
with calls is because you haven't responded.

i called the 800 874 8822 number and spoke to a woman there who said the 203 926 2526 number is NOT a toyota number. this 203 number calls several times a day...
