RV the number belongs to nexgen energy llc from new port richey cold calling for North American Power trying to offer you 0.0799 for one month and them bump you up into the 0.20 range. I called them befor and found out Michelle was the GM and now they are shut down. Justice served cold.

Sadly, I've started getting these calls and i'm in the UK with a UK registered cell phone. The last four digits are different every time, but ultimately its the same place. Must be costing them a fortune ! Sadly, I don't think there is anything I can do over here. It would cost me to much to call back and try to educate these people.

After received almost daily calls, I called Positive Energy yesterday and asked to talk to the supervisor.  He was very nice, and agreed to remove my name and number, and assured me I would get no further calls.

This morning - another call from Positive Energy asking me what electric company I'm using!

I've now filed a complaint with the National Do-Not-Call registry.  This company is harassing me.

There is a mix up here. Positive-energy.com is my website.  We are not an electric company. We sell energy saving products and are based in Boulder, CO.  This is another company with the same name, and perhaps a similar web address.

Received a call from this number. Tried to return the call and it was busy.

What if your number has been on the "do not call" registry?  Only non-profit, political or businesses you have ACTUALLY have the right to call you. We go a call on our phone today. This business does not meet any of the above criteria that I listed..  This is illegal to call homes like that. They can not claim they are "non-profit",  maybe it's for some political idiot to get richer, and I have NEVER contacted them for their services....  Time to contact the FCC!!!

I am the President of Positive Energy Conservation Products.  We do not make cold calls.  This was not us.  It must have been a different Positive Energy.

Many call from this number with no messages. Very intrusive and annoying !  I will block them too.

They called my fax machine, so I did not answer. My beep must have heard their beep.

If your number is 1) residential or cell and 2) is on the do-not-call list call your phone company tell them that you have received an harassing call from this number. The phone company is required to act.

If they do not act, and every phone company has a different lawyer with different ideas about their responsibility, get the name of the CSR you spoke with and then call the local Public Utility Commission. Do mention this call before you disconnect with your phone company; might cause an escalation and action because, if the PUC accepts the complaint, it will cost the phone company at least $5,000 to meet the PUC's !

You do not even need the number from caller ID, although it would help; just call to complain before you get another call from anyone.

These folks have been harassing me since last April.  They called me 10/2, 10/8, 10/12, 10/13 and just now.

They must have called a gazillion times before I started recording their number down.  My Vonage log will not record incoming calls that stop short of leaving a message, so I have no idea of the true number. Ignoring them obviously wasn't working well. I finally got seriously fed-up and started a log of when they called.

I did exactly what you suggested and am hopeful that the harassment will stop.  They identified themselves as "Positive Energy."  The lady who answered the phone let out a big sigh when I asked to speak to her Supervisor, as if saying;  "Here I go again."  She Identified herself as Abby, and was very professional.  She apologized even.

The number is from Nexgen. There represent Positive Energy here in CT. They really can save you 3 cents Per KWH on the electric bill and best of all it's free for all CL&P and UI customers. For those on the DNC, your number comes off the list in one year if you don't renew. I didn't know this myself until I started getting calls again.

People...use your heads. Stop wasting time getting annoyed and filing complaints. I too am on the "Do Not Call List", but from time to time my caller ID shows I receive multiple calls per day from the same phone # over several weeks.

Simply call the # back, ask to speak with a supervisor, and confirm with them that they do not fall into one of the categories that are allowed to call you (i.e. political org, non-profit, survey/research, etc.) and then ask them to remove your number from their call list. If you get an automated greeting when you call, which I did, just press "0" for an attendant and then ask for a Supervisor.

Be firm, but don't be rude. I have always had success with this procedure.

Would love to see responses from those who try this.

I have received many calls from this number and filed numerous complaints.  I have now filed a complaint with the FCC.  Go to  esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e53   Everyone file so that we can shut this person out.

do not call list , who gives them the right to call TELEMARKETING their company, its against the law to call the do not call list, period, keep it up and I will personally make sure you and your company is sorry that they ever made the phone cal, yes thats correct I know who you are and excactly where to find you

BEWARE!

I received a call from this number and upon picking up the phone, I heard a click and then dial tone.  I proceeded to call back the number using *67 and got a voice mail for Next Generation Solutions.  Before the voice mail could even complete the message, I was disconnected.  

Definitely something not to pick up for phone for.

Another unwanted caller that calss repeatedly and leaves no message.
