Recorded message saying I or someone in the family entered a sweepstake. Where is the CRTC to stop this? People who are on the do not call list wind up with their phone number being sold BY THE CRTC to these companies.

Just received a call from this number saying:   Thank you for completing our online survey.   I haven't entered any online survey so hung up.

I also answered this because it was from my area code...

It's a cheap come-on..    A recorded voice says: "You won a prize for participating in a recent web survey.. Press 1 for more information on what you won".

Another number added to my reject list.

i got many calls from this number saying i won one of 3 prizes and it was because of an online servey i did so i asked to talk to ssupervisor because i didnt fill oout any survey and he hung up on me and when called back i kept getting hung up on

Got a call I won 2500 towards a trip when I called them back it was automated asking push 1,2,3 blah blah google maps gave location if anyone is energetic you can pay them a visit

Addition to above note. DK how to edit a post. When I answered I was told I had recently registered for something online. Do not recall doing so. Since from a Canadian number can lodge a complaint with the CRTC DNCL @ https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng.

From AC 204 - just received a call from this number. Since from same AC I answered it. Added to  Call Block on my Panasonic phone (sure others have this feature as well).

Just got a call from that number. By the time I got to it no one was there. Guess since I didn't answer quick enough they went on to the next number.

Just got a call from that same number 204-272-8828 and  i let o to answerin machine. No message left.
I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and the telemarketers still call.  ANNOYING!!

This was a automated call saying that I won something and should push 1, 2 or 3.  It said it was from Canadian Tire and I had actually filled out an on line survey for them the day before.  I did not select a prize.  I just hung up.

I completed an online survey about travel to the U.S. and the next day I got a phone call from this number and was told I would receive discounts on hotels for a trip to Florida. I asked him if I won a trip and he said "no" but I was approved for an advertising promotion. Then a woman got on the line and tried to get my credit card number. She was very persistent and asked me for the information at least half a dozen times. She kept saying I had registered for a trip. I told her I had only filled out a survey and did not register for any trip. I told her to send me the information via email and she said she would as soon as I gave her my credit card information. I finally I hung up on her.

Same thing happened to me this morning, from the exact same number. I informed him that I was graciously declining the offer & did not appreciate his insistence. He was rude & I didn't have a good feeling about the whole scenario.

The called my cell and asked for me by name. Then proceeded to tell me that I'd recently entered a contest and that I'd won a trip to Florida. He kept asking for my partners name, I would not give it and said I had not entered a contest. He was very insistent and kept saying I didn't have to be interested in the trip because I'd already won. I hung up.
