It is unfortunate, but the DO NOT CALL registry in Canada does not stop political calls. Political surveys are exempt from the list, which is why I like Phone Tray (as all I get from them now is a single ring) which plays a recording (computer voice) I created for this specific number.

It is amazing, even after putting a recording for their number on my phone, they still call back!! What a waste of taxpayer time. Keep it up Conservatives, and you will guarantee yourselves not getting my vote!

I just got this call seconds ago. I did not answer, just came here to see who it was (I am not in the 204 area code). Lucky for me, my computer has a modem, and I found some FREE software that allows me to block (and play them a specific message). All they get from me is a recording telling them, basically, voting is still done by "secret" ballot, and me telling them who I would vote for kind of defeats that purpose.

This number has been calling my house for three weeks - once - three times a day - I have called that number and asked to be removed twice already and they still continue to call. If this really is Conservative party of Canada - nice way to loose votes when you are already not listening to the people.....
