I too got a call from them, claiming to be the Canadian Liver Foundation, and foolishly gave them my credit card number. Since this is a charity near to my heart, I donated.  Now what?

Wish this number would stop calling,I been on the do not call list since they started it and I still get lots of calls.

Just got a call from 480-4506 claiming to be calling on behalf of Canadian Liver Association however very obvious telemarketers possibly scam artist, very agressive had to hang up.  I will report to Canadian Liver Association.

I keep getting calls from this number.. day and night it's really annoying..can it be stopped? when I call back i get amessage telling me this number is not in service..

Actually they identified themselves as Xentel.  If you google Xentel Telemarketing you'll get a clearer picture.  If you feel like contributing to charitable causes, please do it directly, or mail them so that telemarketers don't receive their cut.

I should also mention that "Brandi" refused to put me on their "Do not call" list when I asked her to.

They identified themselves as being with Xentel - as you may or may not know, these people solicit funds on behalf of several organizations.   If you're going to make a contribution to a charitable cause, do it directly rather than through this telemarketing call, that way the charity gets all the money.

Search for Xentel Telemarketing on Google and see what oozes up.
