I phoned them back. This is Manitoba Oldtimers Hockey Association.  Collecting for something no doubt.

Some begging scammers pretending to represent local police. They knew my name. I have responded with polite "Hello", and then, after just a few seconds of their monologue mentioning police, they hung up.

204-480-4521 if this number calls you don't answer it, and don't give them any information or money. They will sell or give out information about you to others.If you have the option block this number and others like it.

this person calls every night around 7:15pm to 7:30...and then hangs up

This person was very rude, asked to speak to the Mrs. of the house. Told her it was me, she said oh, you sounded like a kid. Was very rude and sighed when I told her I wouldnt give any money as i did my own fundraising and volunteering for a similiar charity in the area already. Very rude!

Just got a call from that number on a Friday morning - they said hello, and that was it.

get this on phone number often on call display - do not answer as does not say who it is...it is  a nuisance!!!!!

They called me tonight, just a few minutes ago. It rang twice, and when I picked up, the line was already dead.

Call several times and never leave a message.  Shows up as Unknown name.

This number has called me twice saying it was the Optimist club and looking for donations for childhood cancer.  I said to mail me a pamphlet and I would consider it but they kept wanting me to commit over phone.  They said it was tax deductable

Just added my name to their do not call list.. Old timers hockey I think.

They keep calling and calling.. but do not answer right away..  So bye bye.

this # called me few hours ago asking for donations or something..........she wants me to give  money to help the kids etc.when i said no she's insisting and then i hung up.

This # just called and my daughter askrd who was calling before giving me the phone. She said the caller would not say , instead just kept demanding to speak to a parent anfd when she said no the caller hung up.

Strange.. two calls almost back to back from people wanting money..  When they do not answer right away, I hang up as it is usually some sort of automated dialing system.

Just got a call from this number soliciting for some charity circus crap. I kept telling the guy "no, no, no" very politely at first, then he wouldn't give up. I just finally hung up on him...

A call from an organization trying to sell "Old Timer Hockey" tickets (?Charitable event)  and requesting payment by credit card but other options available.  Game on March 21st as a "family fun" event.

The line clicked a few times after I answered, but I remained on the line anyways asking 'Hello?' just to be polite, when a recording started to inform me that "due to a higher call volume than expec--" and then the line clicked a few more times and hung up.

The line was dead for the first several seconds of their call, then they started speaking very quickly (and they knew my name). I responded with "Hello" and then listened politely. After a few seconds of their monologue they either hung up or the connection broke. Weird.

Same thing happening to me...it's very annoying! I called the 1-800 # you provided and have been removed from their list.

The local city police pressuring people to donate money, so they will look good giving a big fat cheque to some charity.  Even after doing the nauze to be on teir do not call list. . . they keep calling, which only makes me NEVER want to support anything they are affiliated with!

Called back and got a recording for a charity soliciting for funds for "Old timers hockey"....

The message said they will be calling back... great

My wife got a call from this number early this morning. A recorded voice said "Due to heavy volumes" and then hung up.

got a call this evening when i answered all i heard was a man mummbling, i could not make out what he was saying then when i said hello again he hung up. Strange.

i just contacted a toll free number - 1.800.379.7808 - you will then have an option to remove yourself from their call list.

they call our office frequently and won't speak to me - they hang up when i tell them the owner isn't in.  they're annoying me.

Knew my name, then line went dead, then came back on, then they hung up.  Weird.
