I would like 204-949-5911 to stop calling getting sick and tired of these hang ups

have added more numbers to the previous Portfolio Recovery list.   If we keep doing this, eventually  these idiots will have no more numbers left to hide behind.  And maybe then the FCC will have some meat to use to shut this down.

When these calls became numerous, I simply forwarded my "busy" voicemail number to a number that was disconnected.  (I have call waiting so I can see who is calling.)

When a number appeared on my phone that I suspected to be PR, I simply hit the 'ignore' button and the call was forwarded to the disconnected number.  This results in a signal being sent from the phone company that the number was is no longer in service to the PR Robo dialing system.

Took a couple of months, but the calls are down to about one a week:

Received a call from 204-949-3108. It came up Winnipeg MB. They said they were doing a survey. Asked for someone 18-34. When I replied no one here that age the girl said a women between the age of 34 and 65. I said no one here and thanked her then hung up. They were definitely on a fishing expedition.

Asked who she was calling and she started  "Pictch" again, asked again and he started getting louder. Told her to GFY and get a real job B****.  No more calls

I got a call at 2:00 in the morning.  Didn't answer.  Sleep is more important.  Are Canadian firms subject to the DNC list criteria?

Don't know why someone in Canada would call us in Oregon......bizarre.  They call and call and never leave a message.

I just got a call from this number and it is a market research company out of Canada. The guy starting asking me questions for a survey about TV and TV programming. He wanted me to watch a 1/2 show on Sept 14 and then they'd call me the next day to get my opinion. He asked for my address to send me the video but I didn't feel comfortable giving it out so I told him exactly that. He was fine about it and assured me what it was for. I think it's legit (I think it is) but I still didn't feel comfortable giving out my address. So that's who is calling you.

A bit of sleuthing reveals the following:
204-949-3108 "POTS Phone MB" is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.Numerous complaints on Web fro mnay geographic areas. This caller is the company Ipsos Reid (also dba Ipsos Direct) [Website: ispos-asi.com]. Jean-Marc Lech and Didier Truchot are the Co-Presidents of Ipsos. The company has many mailing addresses world-wide; but the main one in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada appears to be: 185 Carlton Street, 4th Floor, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J1 [Tel: (+1) 204-949-3100; Fax: (+1) 204-956-1152]. It is the address at which I shall be sending them a bill for US$250.00 (for the first hour or part thereof) for unsolicited business interruption!

Got a call from a man who said he was from some educational research company. I interupted him before he finished and told him we were on the National "Do Not Call" list. He proceeded to tell me the don not call list doesn't apply to them. I interrupted again and told him to NOT call us again and slammed the phone down. The only dalls allowed on "Do Not Call" are political and charity calls. I am so sick of these calls like this. The caller ID indicated it was from MAnitoba and the number was 1 204 949-3108

The man called twice...when he talked to me on the 2nd call he asked to talk to a female between the ages of 18 and 24...sounded pretty fishy to me so I asked to be put on a do not call list (I thought I was on one...must have been a different list that I was on).

Endlessly calling.  No message.  No response when I answer.

I answered the phone before checking caller ID.  A lady asked if I spoke Spanish.  I said "no" and she hung up.  Caller ID showed Winnipeg, MB.  I guess our being on the "National Do Not Call List" wouldn't matter - since they're in a different nation. I like the sound effects and billing ideas previous "victims" came up with!

called last week and my husband answered the phone they asked for me by name. they wanted me to preview a movie on DvD that was to be sent by ups or fedex. I was to watch the movie and then they were to call me back on the 30th of September. first call was on the 17th of sept. I never recieved a DvD and they called me 6 times on the 29th but wasn't home that day. they called back on the 30th (caller ID said 7 times)  and asked If I watched the movie. I said I never recieved a movie and they said they would resend it the next day and I could watch it and they would call back in a week. I told them I was going out of town and couldn't watch their movie. At that point they told me very rudely that I was not eligable to participate in their survey of this so called movie. I am not sure what kink of scam this is but it is annoying that they keep calling so many times. Also the person on the other line was a women. the number was from Manitoba MB.

I've gotten 3 calls today, from this and 2 other numbers.  When checked on Google, two were St. Jude and this one from Winnipeg.  No messages from any of them, just many calls a day.

They have called a few times in the last two days. I think I'll answer with a fake name.

They called my cell number. It's an investment company. I told him that I would report the number on the Do Not Call website.
