Did anyone else get charged for these calls, as I did? International charges to the Chicago area. They left no message.
Sassy 2014-05-29 01:38:20 Unknown
I never answer numbers I don't recognize especially on my cell phone. If it's important, they will leave a msg. Good luck peeps!!

Call I'd says it's from Manitoba.. I did not answer.
Aiden 2014-05-14 01:35:53 Unknown
Local Mounties explained to me do not answer these calls. Yes they say they're BMO, yes I deal with BMO. Yes I was frauded. Do not let them put you on HOLD..... That's the time they are downloading your phone, and accounts inside your phones.
I didnt answer the first time, couldn't..... I didnt answer the 2nd time. I called back after that. They falsely pose as BMO. They asked me numbers, that the bank already has, obvious red flag.....
Clearly, from the comments posted here, someone is targeting BMO clients!
People, there is a series of numbers being used, none of which are BMO......!
I have been pissed off to no extent, over this issue as its my 4th time frauded!!!!!
I on the other hand, have tracked my caller down to the North vancouver area. I may even know a company this person works at. I'm going to north vancouver next month(June/14) with a camera in my hands to see this persons face.
REMINDER......... It's only a phone people, careful what's on it. We pay top service charges, so go in and talk to your local branch staff.
If people can be so computer smart..... Why can't they run my country???????

Easy Fix 2014-05-01 14:30:09 Unknown
Here is one line and one question that guarantees you will never be called back by them. Answer the call and whether it is a female or male just say, "Wow, you sound really hot." Then ask, "How hot are you?" They will hang up and wipe your number from the system. Works every time.

Many calls from this number, saying that it was about a survey.
Are there still people that believe that sort of thing?
Here is my advise: Put them on "Hold" and let them roast.

I get a call from this number. The lady knew my full name. She said she was from Bank of Montreal and were conducting some sort of customer satisfactory survey....She thought I was stupid.
Anderson Davies 2014-03-18 22:56:53 Telemarketer
This is the only number that calls us since we put ourselves on the DNC registry.
I, too get no one on the line but it is still annoying. If it is BOM because they are our bank apparently the CRTC says they can call us regardless of being on the registry. Solution, I bought a whistle. They called back and I blew hard. They called one more time a week later and I have not heard from them since hopefully I blew Achmed's ears out.

Never ending calls from this number - wanted to do a survey about my experience with the telephone company. I asked which company, they couldn't answer. I asked what the name they were calling for, they hung-up but continue to call sometimes twice daily.
JG 2014-03-07 23:11:31 Unknown
Very abrupt, very demanding that I take a survey regarding my satisfaction with the telephone company. Told her I don't want to take the survey but she insisted it would only take three minutes. I told her NO and she started to interrupt. Said a nasty word to her and hung-up. Now blocked on my cell - goodbye!

Just got a call in Calgary from them. Said I was not at home. They said they would call again. They would not leave a message.

Calling every day; they did leave a message the first time, an automated
message informing me I had won a CRUISE!! Yaaaaay!
Dan 2014-02-26 01:11:48 Unknown
I remember the exceptions to the "do not call" list, and one of them is if you conduct business with the entity they may call you. phone surveys are irritating as hell though.
greg 2014-02-25 04:06:42 Unknown
that's true, it's 9am to 9pm local time
Joey 2014-02-14 01:43:22 Unknown

Caller "from BMO" doing a survey
Fireman 2014-02-12 00:08:56 Unknown
Called my house three times in an hour no message. Set my desktop to block all further calls. If they want to chat say what's it about and leave a good return number.
Ross Woodhouse 2014-02-08 19:05:31 Survey
They do not identify themselves but say they are doing a survey for Bank of Montreal and they would like to update our banking information. Fat chance that is going to happen. We just hang up.
Zen 2014-01-31 03:49:46 Unknown
That is incorrect... The law stipulates that all business and government related numbers can only call a private residence between the hours of 9am-6pm local time of the resident being contacted.
Titchy 2014-01-16 23:47:16 Unknown
Because you recently went to BMO. They do this once a year.
