omg,, they call me 1 hr ago saying that the government was giving 7,000 grant. they want me too send them $250 for western union haha well i tell them just subtracted from my 7,000 grant haha they got mad and hang up.. SCAAM Do NOT send any money to this people... i wonder how they got my number??

I got a call from the same number 10 minutes ago. i called the number they gave me and asked the guy to    re-ensure me that this was not a scam. he put me on hold and never came back tot he phone. i searched the nuber online and got this site. lol.  SCAAAMM

Do not know who this is. driving me crazy. Do not answer numbers u don't know. let it go to voicemail. if thete is no message to identify person. then block the number.

got a call from this number 15 minutes ago.  Accent so thick I could not even understand a work she was saying.  I told her not to call me back that I had reported it to the ftc.

I got a call from this number. She had a thick accent. I was skeptical about giving my bank information so I tol her I wanted the $7,000 by check in the mail. She said I had to call her manager. I called the number she gave me and it wasn't a working number. I knew it was a scam lol.

Received the same call.  They offered to give $7000 in exchange for personal information.

205-210-3482 tried telephoning since 7/28. But today, I did answer the call. It was a female with heavy accent I could hardly understand but I listened. As I was granted US government money of 7K, she gave me a confirmation code and that I should call 206-905-9838 for further info. It was US Government Grant Dept. as Mr. Thomas claimed. I asked where he was calling from, and he said DC. Area code 206 is Waqshington state.

I just received a phone call from this number 205-210-3482 and they knew my name and my address and my phone number. the lady said to call cherlene clark at 206-462-5478 and she will sent $7,000.00 to me.  Well my husband and got on to the internet trying to find out who these people are, they have to locations and they'er out of Tuscaloosa,Albama. this lady told me she was calling me from Washington DC. i would like to know who they are and what are they up too so  i am going to call better bearu and find out if they can help me know who i am dealing with and i will let you know.

I received a call from Pope K&R offering me $7000 in a government grant. when I ask "what's the catch the caller hung up. someone needs to trace this number and arrest callers!

These people tried to get my bank information.  When I told them no they said I could get it via western union for 300.00 security deposit.  I said No thank you and hung up.

Just got the same call as you guys, i am located in Rockland County NY. They seem to be bothering people all over the country. Telemarketing is an industry of scam artists, just look up Jesse Foote another soulmate of the soul-less Popes!

I just received a call from the same number. I didn't answer, I just Googled it and found this site. Thanks for the information. The caller ID showed as Pope K&R. The number was exactly as the one posted by ann.

Got the same call today, same Indian accent, same scam for $7k. Claimed to be in Washington DC area, though the call origin was shown as Tuscaloosa, AL. I asked what the weather was like in Washington DC. She hung up.

Received a call from this number today (July 26th. 2012).  Caller ID stated the name, Kelly Pope as well.  Told me they were from the U.S. government and wanted to give me $7000 for being such a good citizen.  It was (I think) a male with a very thick accent.  I said I wasn't interested--hung up.  They called back again..same number...tried to argue with me.  I hung up.  They called back a 3rd time (number/name didn't show up on my ID).  Told me I was a Mother F****, kept cussing, yelling..told me they were going to kill me.  I called the city phone company--referred me to the Oregon Dept. Justice.  They just told me not to answer any calls I can't identify on my phone.  Interesting...

Pope J & R.....they do not want to speak whenever I lift the phone.

I also got this call from this number, I told them to give me there number so my lawyer can call them the man hang. It's so sad they there so many people out there doing this scams. They have different ones.

I, too got a call from this number.  If you want to freak them out, BLOW A POLICE-TYPE whistle when you pick up the phone.  WHY don't they get a life and work for a living !!!  Bunch of leaches..............

gov scam telling you, you have received 7000 dollar grant if you send 150 dollars through western union, could not understand her very well. also phone numbers 206-201-2759 and 206-905-9838 could not understand these males either. i reported to my local police. i live in arkansas
