I DID MY ONLINE COLLEGE PAPERWORK WITH DEVRY THEN THAT NUMBER STARTED CALLING ME EVER SINCE ABOUT 8 TIMES A DAY FOE THE PAST TWO WEEKS

This is virginia college they called my number several times while I was at work. I only asked for emialed information from their web site not relentless phone calls.

This company keeps calling me even after I told them to remove me from their list.

How did they get my number........

ok.  they called me and put a family members name on the number!!!  WTF!

These people call multiple times a day. very annoying and unreasonable.

I get calls from this number several times a day. It is VA College. It is for solicitation purposes.

If you do not want to receive calls like this you must register with the Do Not Call registry. donotcall.gov After 31 days most calls should stop but if not you may then file complaints against the companies calling you. Even if they are debt collectors.

You can and should also register your cell phone on the list. It won't stop all of the calls but it is a start and it will help,

ALSO, be careful, if you go online and hit the "I AGREE"  box to be able to access something, many times you also agree to let these solicitors call you via the phone numbers that you provide. Read the fine print.

every time i receive an unknown numbers..i saved them and then set the block them...it's work.

these people should be sued they are hacks definetly not a legit college beware.

My phone rings immediately as I keyed in my choice of online study on a website. The website mentioned Virginia University. Looked up the number while phone is ringing. Done that last week. Phone kept ringing several times a day with same number after filling out info. Told the caller to take me off the list. No more calls. Ugh!

I've been receiving a call from 205-259-2129 (Virginia College) every morning like clockwork for a month.  Yesterday I responded to the call and asked to be put on their do-not-call-list.  The phone voice said that would be done.  Got another call today.  I'll wait a bit longer.  I would like to know if there are any lawyers who specialize in class action suits against nuisance callers.  The government entities don't seem to be very effective thanks to the loop holes the politicians leave in the legislation.

Anyone interested in pursuing a class action against uncontrolled solicitations?

OMG, I made the mistake of signing up online for additional info- their calls were ENDLESS!!!! I finally called them this morning and asked to be taken off the list.

This is a call center, NOT a collection agency.  I submitted info for Virginia College (based in Alabama) and this is the number that called me back.  They verify information and then connect you with a Virginia College representative.  This is for a college education.  If you want them to stop calling you, then answer the phone and tell them that!

Just signed up for Virginia College info and got this same call.  Now  I'm kicking myself.

To all of you who are having trouble with the phone umber calling you, whether it be Virginia College or some lame collection agency.  I found the easiest way to get your number removed is to call them back and tell them that you were returning their phone call.  When they get into starting their spiel, then you briefly interrupt them and tell them that you are not interested, and did not give out your phone number to be solicited, and ask them to remove you from their system and they will place you on a do not call list.  If by some chance you did mistakenly put your number out there and you feel that they are harrassing you, call them back, tell them you were returning a call to the number, and when they ask your number, give it to them.  When they say the name, whether it is your name or someone elses, just tell them they have the wrong number.  You do not have to identify yourself to them!! Ask them politely to remove your number from their database, and they will. Keep your cool, you will get much better results, than if you get angry and cuss them out.  Try this and you will find how easy it is, and doesn't cost anything but a few minutes of your time.

Caller of this number need to stop calling people. Stop lying about who you really are and identify your true self!! Calling at all hours and even the weekends is not acceptable!!!!!

Change ur # or file a harrasment suit against them. By law they can only call so often and not several times a day. Easier to change ur #

Caller didn't leave a message.  Called back and it was a Virginia something College.  They were looking for someone else and said that they would remove my # from their system.

im in the same boat with like 3 ppl above me..
i signed up for the college ordeal online and like 3 or 4 mnts later my phone rang. i did not pick it up because i was busy but they left a message: "this is Virginia college...".
now two other colleges are calling me too.. pretty anoying..
