I get a call from this number a least once a day. They hang up! Why? What do they want? Who is this?

I get a call at least once a day. They just hang up. What's up with this number? Who knows anything? Why is it my number is all over the internet, but I can't find anything on this number except a lot of others are also getting calls from this number!!?

Called and asked for my husband by name.  Said he was Matt Hughes but he did not leave a message, said he would call back.

i was shocked. so if u wanna help but not get taken advantage of just give the lowest amount or just them to delete you and since some of my coworkers dont do this they just hang up in ur face,make sure u ask for the supervisor to make sure u are deleted. i do my job correctly. they tell us not to be rude or hang up on people but some these people they hire are a***oles. im one week away from quiting. its a very flexible job for a college student but there are too many dicks that work here

i live in Birmingham, Al.  and ive been working here since Nov 2007. im a college and was surprised to find a job with such flexible hours. i thought i was working for an honest fund raising place. i began to suspect it was a scam. so i ask my supervisor about the percentages of what goes to the officers. he explains to me that only ten percent goes to them because they have to keep the place running and pay us. i was thinking oh my God this is a scam until he pulled the percentages of the United Way

They called my Grandma asking for me, she said i wasn't available and can she take a msg? They said No, that they will call back later and hung up. This is the 1st time this number has called her. Thank god I don't have a land-line phone!

The phone rings and no answer...calls a couple times a day and I want the calls to be stopped.

These people call at least once a day and sometimes two or three times a day.  Most of the time they just hang up, but when they do answer, they ask for my husband by name, but won't leave a message.  They call as late as 9:00pm at night, all hours of the day and night.  My husband thinks they are just checking to see when we are home.

Caller ID was from Birmingham, AL; I picked up the phone and no one answered after two hellos. If this is some company collecting money for Police Officer Association, I had a hard time with these folks about 1 month ago when they were almost forcing me to contribute. I told them I needed to discuss it with my husband before sending them money and they dind't want to wait for that. The guy was rude and trying to close the deal at that moment.

I get these calls daily. the kids are out of school and the ask for me by name. When the kids ask for a name and number for me to return the call they tell them "she'll know when she calls the office'. But if you call the number back it doesn't go through. I'd really like these calls stopped!!!

The reason you can't call them back is because they're p**sies. They know that people like me are gonna get tired of them and start calling them back. I would start dishing out their medicine. I would call them and when someone comes to thphone and speaks,I would hang up or leave a threatening message. How do you like those apples?

I receive calls from this number often.  No one ever says anything.

Called today at 6:49 PM and asked for my ex-husband who has not lived at my number for over 3 years! When I said "He no longer lives here." They immediately hung up the phone.

update!!!! as of today one of the guys has been fired. contact was made with the company that contracts that company out and they were not happy and stated that the guy was fired today. 1 down several more to go.

i am a ga police officer and member of the peace officer assoc. of ga. the company is paytech. and they are contracted from a company in minnesota that prints our p.o.a.g. magazine. they are legit but they conduct there business in a very rude and unprofessional manner. the p.o.a.g. is in the process of getting the problem fixed but the company in minnesota says they can't find anyone else to do it. my opinion is that with the way they treat people including them calling my wife a bi*** that we would be just as well off without anyone helping collect donatons. sorry about the way people are getting treated but please don't think bad of ga. police officers or the p.o.a.g. because the same things are happening to us.

I get calls daily from these people. They rarely pick up when i forget who they are and answer. I though they were Peace officers begging for money but they always have been very nice. So I do not know who they are, sure wish the no Call list applied to everyone.

Have been calling for the past 3 or 4 days, sometimes twice a day! It's a man with a thick southern accent who won't identify himself or leave a message. He asks for the hubby by name and often interrupts nap time........arg. Next time he calls I'm telling him I'm reporting him.

I just called and spoke directly to a man who advised me that he knew nothing about the 205 telephone # and had nothing to with the harassing calls. He was very nice in explaining his situation and knew nothing about paytec/uslecommunications. Any other developments?

They keep calling - and I use the opportunity to practice my foreign language skills (currently Mandarin Chinese). The guy kept saying, "oh, cut that crap out, let me talk to (husband's name)." then when I asked who it was he said "Mike." I said "Mike who?" and he said "Mike Mills." I asked what company he was from and he said "What do you mean, what company, this is Mike," then he hung up.

Calls every night but will not leave a message or just hangs up angry if my wife or son answers. Ask for me by name.
