This number calls several times a day.  No one is ever on the other end. Or they hang up.

This number was on my caller ID - tried to call back and it would not connect.

This number was on my caller ID, but no message was left.  They have called several times.  I am on the Do Not Call list, but keep my phone turned off because of numbers like this calling anyway.

received call from this number. Caller hung up before I could answer. I tried calling back and receive a busy signal. Whenever I call from my cell, it says that the number cant be dialed.

I work for this company. What it is, is that we are paid by the Alabama Sheriff's Association to make cold calls to random numbers. It's not our fault but we need jobs too you know. It's not like we enjoy being cussed at and turned down but it pays the bills. The reason they ask for a minimum pledge is because it costs them money to send decals and children ID kits out and most people won't send a donation back so they would loose money. Second of all, the reason you can't call back is because it's an automatic dialer which cannot be answered only sent out. If you ask them to take them off their call list they have to. If they don't, report it to the Alabama Sheriff's Association themself. As for why we call at 9 on Sundays, we don't have a choice when we work. We work until 9PM Sundays so we have to call until then, not by choice. Don't be rude to us, we are just doing our job. If you are bad enough to cuss us out for having a job, you need help.

Picked up the phone on the second ring. Nothing at other end. After saying hello 3 times, I hung up.

Caller said they were taking donations for the Sheriff's Death Fund for fallen officers.  I told them to send me the info.  They said they'd send a decal, etc.  He put me on the phone to verify with his supervisor who wanted me to verbally commit to send the info and money back within a certain number of days.  I told her I would make no such commitment over the phone and would be glad to look at the information.  She told me is costs them money to send out the packet.  I told her it would cost me money if I decided to donate and she could make the decision if she wanted to send it to me or not.  She said thanks and hung up.

Received call from 1-205-314-5053 with name UNAVAILABLE.  No one was on the line when I answered and then the call ended.

I just received a phone call from this number and when I answered the phone, they hung up.

I got a cal from this number and they asked for my mom or dad and I replied, there not home then the woman said the so your alone and the boogie man's gonna get you haha ok had to get a laugh out of that??????

showed up on my caller ID. I tried to call the number to find out who or what but a recording stated that the number couldn't be completed as dialed. The same number has called my house 13 times in 2 weeks. I answered the phone on one occasion alone & there was no one on the line.

Rang twice. When I picked up, they had already hung up. Showed ID as "Unavailable"

got a call from this number i answered it, nothing on the other end.

I answered a call from UNAVAIABLE 205-314-5053 but they would not respond or say anything.

don't know why, they won't get nothing here.

Call from this number, rang three times and then stopped.  Didn't answer b/c I didn't recognize number and UNAVAILABLE showed up on my caller id.

Received several calls from this number - line always went dead when I answered.  This morning, I finally got a response when I answered.  They claimed they were soliciting for the Alabama Sheriffs Association and would send me an information packet including a decal for my car window.  When I asked them how much of my donation would actually go to the sheriff's association and how much they were keeping, he couldn't answer my question and I hung up.

Answering machine picked up and the caller said "I want to speak to [my name]" and then the phone cut off.  It wasn't very clear, and his voice was somewhat muffled, but I clearly heard him say may name before it cut off.  Strange...

I have received numerous calls from this number.  Since I do not recognize the name and the Caller ID shows up as UNAVAIABLE, I will not answer it.  It is getting frustrating though to keep getting these calls at all hours.

call from 1 205 314-5053 on 8/5/07. after three rings picked up phone but recorder came on so caller immediately hung up .....

Man called me from this number and stated that he was from the Alabama Sheriff's Association and he was soliciting donations and in return they would send us a Sheriff's Association sticker for our vehicle.  When I told him I was a Deputy Sheriff he stuttered and then stated "God bless you and have a good night." and he immeditaely hung up.
