I have bought trash bags, cleaners, brooms, and whisk brooms.  All the products are good quality (can't find a better natural bristle broom). I believe they package the items but I am not sure who makes the products.  I've never had trouble with delivery or payment.  I admit that I started getting way to many calls so I asked to be taken off their list.  I no longer answer any calls if I don't recognize the number so I don't know if they are still calling.  I need trash bags so I'll go ahead and get some from them.

Google this company. I did and went to Manta, a business database. The company income is $1 million and they have 15 employees. The products are probably stamped Made In China. Hoovers shows the company is on Dunn & Bradstreet and has $0 operating expenses. Their products may all be drop shipped and they may be using freelance telemarketers.

Calls my home line several times and when I answer a very southern gentlemen gives me his spiel on what they're selling for handicapped folks and when I gently decline and tell him to have a good evening, he hangs up immediately. Of course, when I call the number back, they let it ring to voicemail or just shut the call straight to voicemail. What a shame. These people are terrible.  

I received a call from "Charles" wanted me to buy trash bags,oven gloves etc; when i said i didn't need any thing, he said okay,maybe next time.  I then called the phone # back, woman answered said i had the
wrong phone #. They scam artists.!!!!! called # again 15 mins later, now says voice message box is full!!!

This female (sounded African American) called my house and the first words out of her mouth were "Mrs. XXXXX?) (my wife's name).....to which I responded "when you call my home please identify yourself first".....to which she responded "a***ole" and hung up on me..........not too professional.....wouldn't give them a dime now even if they did actually represent the blind......

I know y'all might have some negative things to say after this msg but I use to work there and its legit the stuff might not be add good a** the name brand or great value but its legit the people that are making them are truly handicap there's some that is blind but they all are guided by someone who isn't handicap so how they are making it is not just by themselves but with the help of able body workers and the handicap workers are getting paid I agree on the prices but that's how they are able to pay their operators which I underarms we can be annoying I get the same calls but since I've worked in this particular company its legit and that's how they pay the handicap and be able to keep their business open to be able to help the handicap you know alot of businesses won't hire handicap although I got fired I had to let y'all know what I know your number is in the computer system they can take you off but sometime the system well pop you back up its not the operator now imma have to learn to not be upset when they call me all o have to do is say no thank you and hang nothing more

Ms Anderson, these people (Mayo Holloway, John Gray, etc.) are taking advantage of you. Best of luck to the call center people from this place, they are always polite; but, I'm still not buying it (the overpriced stuff, or the hard luck stories).

This is a freaking SCAM.

They need to be exposed for just who the are. Told us the money wouldn't be taken off our credit card for 4 wks. They would only charge a $1.00 hold to make sure it was a working card. They would refund the $1.00 the next day. They still haven't done that or refunded the money they took the very next day. We got the phone call around 6:30 in the evening on a Monday and they charged our credit card at 8:05 AM the very next day. Its been about 3 wks. Waiting for my state Attorney General to contact me back about invesgating them for fraud.

Really. The blind make the stuff. How are they going to sew something together if they can't see the seam. How are they going to use heavy cutting machines and machines that get extremely hot. They gave us some sob story and we bought a couple of items. Had to stop payment on items after nothing arrived for 3 weeks. When we would call about it they put us on hold and just passed the phone around till I contacted Alabama's Attorney General Office to report the scam. I lost out on my money over a lame scam. DONT make the same mistake.

i called them back and got a vioce mail so i kept calling and left them messages for over a half hour see how they like getting bs calls lol....

You all may not have clocked in until then, but if you are calling people in other time zones, it COULD BE earlier for them!

And, no, people don't know anything about it because you all HANG UP when people try to get information (like my husband when you all called for me). Even if it IS a worthy cause, based on you all's phone etiquette and YOUR RESPONSE ON THIS THREAD (thanks for representing your company in a professional manner by the way [insert sarcasm here]), you all would not get ONE THIN DIME FROM ME. In fact, all you will get from me is a report to the BBB (with a picture of your response attached to the report; I'm sure your employer can figure out who Ms. Anderson is, too) and a FB page set up to EXPOSE this company for what it is.

I believe mentally retarded people work there; I really do. I believe it by the way you all conduct business. Only somebody who has some challenges would keep calling somebody after they tell them to stop, call repeatedly after getting no answer, and hang up when someone other than the intended person answers the phone.

People CAN get calls at 8:00 IF THEY ARE IN A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE. DUH! You work for them, probably. That explains a lot.

That's what they did to my husband this morning! Maybe they think they will get more sympathy from a woman.

It depends on what time zone you are in, honey. Your 9 a.m. may be her 8 a.m., like you all called here.

If they are so "legitimate", why the heck do they hang up on the person who answers the phone if it is not who they called to speak to? WHY do they not at least announce themselves and ask to leave a message for the intended person? They asked to speak to ME, but when my husband told them he was MR. ________ they hung up. And the irony of it is, my husband HAS THE MONEY because HE WORKS OUTSIDE OF THE HOME; NOT ME  :-). They would have had to have gotten it from him anyway. And, if they are "legitimate", WHY do they call several times a day and, again, leave no message?

They are either a scam or MORONS at customer service. If you work for them (which I suspect you and XXX might), please tell them I said so. They are ANNOYING and I have threatened to report them to the BBB if they don't stop calling me AND put up a FB page exposing them.

Legitimate companies don't get 6 pages of complaints (and counting) on sites like this, and don't have to pay their employees to go online and insist "it's not a SCAM". Only thing that mean is it IS a SCAM. Trying to guilt people into buying your crap, DISGUSTING.

I direct a non-profit in Birmingham, Alabama that serves people with disabilities, and our clients with disabilities earn wages by fulfilling orders for USDI.  I know that USDI sells products made at at least 2 other disability-services non-profits in Alabama.  This company is legit, and just because they are for-profit, does not make this a scam!
