I've received several calls, on my cell phone, from this number.  Is a cell phone company allowed to sell numbers of its subscribers?  I've only given this number to my close friends & family.  I'm limited as to number of calls per month and don't think telemarketers have the right to steal my minutes.

Hey Sherlock, thanks for the detective work. This info will be very helpful in nailing these low life bottom feeders to the wall. What we as their victims need to do is figure out a simple way to make it so costly to them that we can eventually shut them all down. One way is to use the info you have found, send them a certified letter to "CEASE AND DESIST all communication" under the TCPA (Telephone Communication Protection Act). Once notified to CEASE AND DESIST any further calls are finable from  $500 to $1500 per call.

It is a scam - if you win something, you never have to pay for it!  (While your "winnings" may be subject to taxes, you would pay that after receiving the money.)

Its ILLEGAL to ask for money to receive it.

I got a call from a company called Adea . Only the phone number was different. 773-466-6752 . They said I won a 100 gift card that could be used at all sorts of stores . She named them off and they were all major stores anyone would want to shop at. I was very sceptical and kept asking questions . The lady sounded so nice ect... When she got done explaing I won it as an appreciation from major retailers or something crazy like that ,she then took my basic info . The crazy thing was I would need to pay a shipping charge for the gift card. I told her it was a scam , of course she kept saying it wasn't and telling goofy reasons why they had to have winners pay this fee.  I said you can send people a 100 dollar gift card and then they have to pay that . I told she wouldn't get my bank info , then she was saying you can but it on a pre paid visa or something like that. I told her I thought they were going around getting all these people to pay shipping fees and ending up with nothing . It was a small fee but it probably adds up . She said she'd let me think about it and she would call back. It ruined my lunch time . I would of been nice to win something instead of almost being scammed .

These freaks called, and there was a pause when I answered....then an automated female voice started speaking and said, "Hello! You have been selected to receive-"    *click*    No thanks, this is definitely a scam.

I do not use an answering machine.
But I have caller ID and it said it was a caller from Alabama.  
I did not answer, was not home.
I am on the do not call registry, but it does not prevent all unsolicited callers.

Recd call, no one there when I answered.  I called the # back and was told I was selected to receive a WalMart and some other $100 gift card and to press 1. I actually got a person and told her to take my number off her call list and to read back my phone #, which she did.  She said she would remove it.... we'll see.

Two calls in two days from this number. Did not answer and no message left.

Received call at 11:00 a.m. to my "Do Not Call" listed cell phone.  No message left.

Just another scam number calling. Since I have no message and don't call back I have solved the problem. Scammers, solicitors, advertisers are out of control. Good example is on TV programs running 6-7-8 commercials in a row every 5-7 minutes. I never buy any product that over advertises like Geico, Progressive, and the rest. It is out of control. No consideration for us.

This number keeps calling and leaves no messages.  Seems like the caller has nothing better to do with their time. If the call was legit they would leave a message.

We've been getting these for the last week. As soon as I hear the (robocall) lag in response, I just hang up. They will stop soon (they always do). Yes, we are on Do Not Call list but robocallers don't care.

What I don't understand is - why would you call back a number that you don't recognize?

I keep receiving a call from this number.  I've never answered, but they keep calling and they never leave a message.  I googled the number to see who it is and it looks like it's a scam. I added them to the reject list on my phone, hopefully this  call stops.

I did receive phone call at 12:30 PM. Phone is from alabama. Not message left

I receive a call from this number about every four days! They never leave a message.
