Seems legit, but people might be spoofing a number.

Called my house at 8:57 P.M.  They asked to speak to an adult in the house.  I asked if he knew what time it was and that no one should be calling at that time.  Said he was calling in regards to some issues in my area, I kept asking questions until he said he wanted my opinion on some issues in my are.  I told him the only opinion I had is that he was calling too late and asked him to not call again.  Guess what?  He called again the nest night and my husband answered the phone and said you were told not to call here again and hung up.  We will see if they do which they probably will.

I receive 3 calls but did not answer as it usually on Saturday or Sunday nights who is this

someone calling me 3 weeks know caller i d says ssi #205-406-7257 ,i do not answer my phone ,they stay on line about 30 sec. before hanging up . when my answer maching comes on .someone needs to find out who it is and stop them.

They've been calling my cell phone recently, even on Sundays.  When I answered the 1st time, nobody responded.  They stay on the line for about 30 secs but won't leave a vmail.   Amazes me that nobody can stop these pricks.  If anybody knows their address, post it, I'll pay them a visit.

Been getting repeated calls from someone my caller ID identifies as SSI.  They call perhaps three times a week and refuse to leave a message on my machine.  This is the second number this company has used to get in touch with me; the first was also a 205 area code.  They're a scam survey company, but I am really disturbed and angry that they're using the name "SSI" which will no doubt provoke people who rely on social security, especially older people, to take the call.

Claimed to be Nielsen survey when I waited them out. Clear scam.

Dont answer.   SSI - surveysampling.com.  Will call multiple times and aggravate you.

I called this number back and it is from SSI - surveysampling.com.  However, badly run cause their robodialer doesn't even have a recording to keepyou on the line until they can get a telemarketer to waste your time!!!

I am getting calls daily from this number, sometimes 2-3 times daily.  I have them listed as "no answer caller" on my internet phone, and can " ignore"  the call if I am at the computer.  No one ever answers.  This is not the only one, however.  I have a magic jack phone and wonder if that is causing the problem.  donotcall.gov does not help.  This annoying and if anyone has found a way to make it stop.  Please advise.  I'm sure this is some kind of robodial.

Similar to call above, I answered and whenever they heard a young voice they didn't say anything and I hung up.

This number has called my house--Caller ID states SSI--like its social security or something.  Probably heard a younger voice and hung up--if it was an elderly person--would they have started talking?  Can't something be done about these calls!  They are getting worse!

Got a call from this number on a Sunday afternoon. Didn't get to the phone in time.  No message was left.  Have no idea who it is from.
