Yes, They call All Hours!! No Messages. I've attempted to answer a few times but no answer. Its hard to sleep wih these clowns calling early and late

I get several calls during the day and throughout the evening and into the night.  Very annoying!!

They call in the evening between 6 and 8 PM. They call at various times and they have called repeatedly for 10 days straight.  Sometimes twice a day.  I don't pick up and they don't leave a message. And, I am on the national do not call list.  I have also filed a complaint with the FCC on them - to no avail.  THey keep calling.

OMG, these people drive me insane.  We do receive a lot of magazines.  We ordered them through one of those "use your frequent flyer miles now or they'll expire" gigs.  So, the magazines actually cost nothing ... in dollars...but a huge headache from Alabama.  I dont answer calls unless I recognize the number or listing but the next time they call, I look forward to trying the ##########  !!!!!!!!!  Thanks for this tip.

Ever since I called them back during office hours and asked them to remove my name from thier list, all calls from them have stopped.

These creeps have been calling my number (on the do not call list)  every day for the last 3 weeks!  Grrrrr! Put in a complaint to the FTC who monitors the DNC lists with no result so far.  Has anyone else filed a complaint?  I sure hope so.  This company should be taken out of business and fined for breaking the law.

I am on the DNC List but still get this call everyday.  I do not answer because I know it is a scam of some kind.  I would like it to stop.......

this number keeps calling and calling.. yesterday at like 8:30pm today (just now) at 11:16am.. what gives.. PLEASE FTC crack down on these guys.. I can see I'm not the only one annoyed by this company.

Is it legal to call and hang up every day? Isn't that a form of harrasment?

They call everyday, and we haven't even been counting for how long, but it must be for at least a month or two. Everytime the phone rings, I see that it says Alabama, and never answer it. Just last night I decided to answer it, and when I did it was a dial tone. They called again today, and when I answered, they immediately hung up. We are getting sick of this, especially because we are on the DNC list and have been for years, and it is just really getting irritating. I'm glad we found out what the company actually is.

I cant wait to get another call from them so that I can practice my obscene language:)

I ordered pre-paid Magazine Vouchers from my grandson's school fundraiser last Fall. I mailed them about 2 weeks ago.  I haven't received the magazines yet but I am getting called non stop by EBSCO Industries # 205-408-4817. In looking at the copy of what I sent there was small print that said if you don't want to receive offers from other marketers they give our name and # to, check the box.  The print is so small I did not realize it.  There is a customer service # on the gift card stubs as 1-877-604-6513. They are not there on Sundays. M-F, 7-midnight EST and Sat, 8:30-7.  Maybe they can shed some light on this and take me off their calling list.

We had just rec'd two calls this Saturday a.m., then one this afternoon and while looking at this web site guess what...yup another call.  I told the guy that I was on a web site about all their calls and said that I was going to cancel ALL of our mag.sub. just so we wouldn't get their calls. I said I realize that he doesn't really care since he just works there but, he did say that he could put us on their do not call list.... so we'll see what happens.

I'm just another case of the same situation. Can't you block a specific number on your cell phone?  There must be a way.....

If you have subscribed to various magazines in the past (Elle Decor in my case) they call for subscription renewal.  Phone them and get yourself removed from their call list.

They wont take you off the list unless you say so your self ... They don't care ... There is most likely over a few Hundred "Agents " Collage students most likely calling from call centers  and never call the same number twice  ....  If any thing you not saying anything after the few second pause after there dialer kicks in is just giving them a break from their next call .. THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU PLACE THEM ON HOLD FOREVER  OR TELL THEM OFF YELLING AND SCREAMING .. ... Just ask them .. Can you put me on your DO NOT CALL LIST ..

EBSCO Teleservices is a MAGAZINE RENEWAL SERVICE. If you had a magazine subscription (no mater who it was through) they will send it to a telemerketing company for renewal...be it EBSCO or elsewhere and IT IS ALLOWED BY US LAW (THE SAME REASON COLLECTIONS CAN CALL YOU...A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP) despite the DNC laws. The reasoning is the magazine has a previous business relationship with you which excludes the magazine or their affiliates from calling you. EBSCO is actually a reputable company, and if you pick up the phone and tell them to add you to their Do NOT Call list they will add you without hesitiation. Their agents are MUCH, MUCH nicer and compliant than other companies. Just pick up the phone and see what is going on, instead of just complaining online. I was upset at first until I realized why they were calling. I told them to renew my magazine, and stop calling and they did just that. My firend Jody was upset like some of you and just said add me to your DNC list they did it, and never, ever called back again. Just pick up the phone guys!?!?

I called the number back & told them not to call my cell phone anymore. I (hopefully) not put on a do not call list. It was for Mag renewal subscriptions.

Two to three calls a day for months, finally renewed subscription and requested no more calls, they agreeed and the next day another call. We call them to file a complaint and talked to Sharon in managment canceled order and asked them to take us off their call list.

They call all the time....any time of day or night...I am going to try the ######next time they call.  Thanks for the info.

Calls everyday, never leaves a message, but I'm tired of this number showing up on my caller ID. Also, I am registered on the National Do Not Call list.

it doesn't matter if your on the dnc list, you have previous business with them bc of your magazine subscriptions, just tell them to take your name off their calling list and the calls will stop, the #### wont help.

yeah same comments as above... I figure if I don't know who is calling I don't need to answer the phone and if they can't take the time to leave a message for me, I have no time to talk to them...
