This must be a new calling number for these scammers. I answered knowing full well that it was a scam call.
Kept the jovial guy on the line as long as I could...until he caught on to what I was doing; then he wasn't so jovial!
Recently for my home line, I got the new Panasonic ( thru Amazon) phone that blocks 250 numbers - their number is now blocked.
For my business line, I purchased (also from Amazon) the Digitone Call Blocker. The Digitone blocker has a unique feature - it can block entire area codes - along with individual phone numbers.
Very handy!
I have now added the 205 area code to my Digitone blocker.
