Charter Cable Phone Service is charging us 1.99 as well for directory assistance several times to this number. I have never called this number and certainly would not call directory assistance for this number.

Verizon charged me for 4 calls to or from 205 555-1212 @ $1.99 per call. Three on my home phone and one on my cell. It says 411 search. I HAVE NEVER CALLED THIS NUMBER!

This number called and left no message. This is about the 3rd or 4th call I have received. I have also been receiving calls from numerous other area codes followed by 555-1212.

Woman called me knowing my maiden name. Said she was with GE security for free. I said I wasn't interested and she proceeded to get angry with me. I told her I was in a safe neighborhood, had dogs and a security system. She then said my dogs can put out fires if my house catches on fire.  I called back the number and it was 411.  Really scary.

I received a call this morning from this number, I did not answer it but I am still upset because it is annoying that people can call your number even though you have taken steps to prevent it. We have to pay our bill each month to have phone service the least the phone company can do is protect our privacy from such calls.

Called today.  Teenage son answered the phone.  Caller said they were with a security company. Son told him we had a security system and were quite happy with it.  They proceeded to ask alot of questions they had no business asking. Even asked when his parents would be home.  Son sitting at home with a loaded gun now.

I picked up and said, "hello," and all I heard was a heavy sigh as if he/she didn't hear me as they waited for the auto dialer to connect. A little ambient noise in the background, but not like a call center.  Caller ID showed V72609434700003

Just received a call from this number. No message. Called the number back on another line and kept getting an intercept saying needed to enter a "1" or "0" when calling this number. Nothing worked. Agree with Mr. B and Mr. R..

I decided to pick up just for the heck of it I said Hello?   Then I guess their robot connected me to one of their real person telemarketers  after a couple of bumps and rattle sounds a lady said (Hello?)
I guess She didn't get my first hello so I said  Hello? again  kinda goofy anyway wanted to put a security sign in my yard  for free except 189.00 to install something in my house after a survey.  I said not interested and thanked her and hung up

The number is spoofed by the caller who is trying to hide his identity from the recipient.

Guy told me he was with a home security company.  I hung up.

205-555-1212 is used as a sample phone number for generic web sites on the internet. Numerous examples of this can be seen by searching Google. The number is spoofed by the caller who is trying to hide his identity from the recipient.

I dont owe anybody. Im on the do not  call list. I will pursue these folks litigiously...

Called today.  Id says "AL Direct Asst." Why would directory assistance call me?

I have received this number over 20 times in the last week and not a single message.  I picked only once and they hung up. One day 3 times, another day 4 times, but at least once a day for the last week. Thanks for responding to my e-mail
