I got a call. No message. No nothing. I looked up Gov. Stim Help on-line and came to a few other numbers including this one. I called them back and a recording said to be removed for the call list press "One" so I did. It said to give it 24 hours, so I will.

My new HTC Android cell phone has call block. Just save the number, edit, and block. You'll never hear from them again. But you can go back and look at the call block log and see how many times and when the spammers/scammers have tried to call you.

It's the moron who can't control the computer all he or she does is program the computer and walk away.that is why you don't speak to anyone.

I got this call at mom's house and when I pressed" 5 to speak with a refinance representative" as directed, they hung up on me. So I called the number and was redirected to a local number. where I left a message not to call since I was on the do not call list.
they talk about refinance but are randomly dialing as my mothers house is paid in full!
THIS IS A SCAM!

10:15am local time. Northern CA. After 3 day weekend. Just got a call from them while I was on the phone. No message left. Pain in the #$#@$@@#$. They don't understand "Do Not Call list", and our wonderful goverment is incompentent to enforce the current law. ...these are the same folks who plan to legislate our health care?!

These slimballs called again today, 3 times in one month. This time I pressed 5 and told them to call me at 202-418-1000, the phone number of the FCC.

Dear Joe B,
I know I'm taking a chance here, but please don't equate the President with a slimeball. Actually, it would seem you... never mind. You get the point.

Hey Joe B,
You're a moron!

Answered to an automated message that talks about renegotiating the terms of your mortgage. REALLY? I don't think I will fall for a scam like this. Anyone really looking to do this should check out NACA.com.

2nd call from this number in the last 2 days. Both times, no recording started, just silence. But it sounds like this is a federal grant telemarketing spamming company.
| Timothy 2011-06-28 05:44:42 Unknown |
To stop the phone calls, call 888-556-7682, they will remove your phone number from the caller's list.

I received my third call from Gov Stim Help after a seven week lull. I am registered with the Do Not Call Registry, and I filed a complaint against Gov Stim Help with the FTC (National Do Not Call Registry).
I am tired of receiving continuing calls from solicitors that are too cheap to subscribe to the NDNCR. It is mandatory that for-profit telemarketers subscribe to the NDNCR, but based on the number of telemarketing calls I have received since I have been on the NDNCR, it is apparent that many telemarketing companies prefer to harass people with their cold calling sales calls and either not subscribe to the registry or to ignore the registry. One of their reasons may very well be that the FTC and the FCC may encourage such behavior from telemarketers when the FTC and the FCC (on their complaint forms) ask the innocent people who are being harassed by such telemarketers whether they have specifically requested to be placed on the harassing telemarketing company's Do Not Call List. (Is not the point of the National Do Not Call Registry to prevent for-profit telemarketers from making cold calls to those of us who do not want to receive solicitations calls?)
It appears that when one subscribes to telephone service in this day and age, one is blindly agreeing to being harassed by "solicitors selling their wares," with perhaps the unintentional blessings of the FTC and the FCC.

Scam re mortgage problems.

The call blocking feature mentioned above sounds great. I will look into it. Even if I see a number I don't know, I still have to go to the phone and it interrupts what I'm doing. I resent this bunch for their threat tactics especially. And fraudulent claims. It is beyond the sales pitch of 'clean your carpets' nuisance. I had just fallen asleep so left my 'number' only it was at 50 decibels and not my number.
Problem is the poor guys with this crappy job won't make anything more than minimum wage. Sad.
| Donna C 2011-06-28 01:44:06 Unknown |
This is worse than a scam. They threaten foreclosure, cite phony loan numbers and phony civil code numbers. I have reported them with each number and name they have used.
Why anyone would believe Obama did this is shocking but then we are a poorly educated country after all.
Report them and maybe they'll be fined and stopped.
I also reported them to the FTC for misrepresentation as a debt collector.

Annoying calls ?
Fact 1 - The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know!
Fact 2 - Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3 - Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.
QUIT BEING FRUSTRATED over Telemarketers-Scammers & Bill Collectors HOUNDING day after day!
*********DON'T GET MAD ? HIT BACK!
**********STOP BEING ANNOYED - STOP BEING A VICTIM
**********PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKING TELEPHONE!!!
Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They?re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset, and they work beautifully! These phones also block ?PRIVATE?, ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
