I am getting sick of getting these calls. Its the same as all the above. I answer and then silence. I haven't had anyone swear at me since they won't say anything. From now on I will not answer when this numbers pops up.

My mother just received a call from this number. When I answered I heard snickering in the background. I said "Hello" again and the lady said "Mrs. . . . ". When I said this is her daughter she asked if Mrs. . . was there. She wasn't here at the time. When I told her she was not available she swore under her breath. When I asked if I could take a message she mumbled. When I asked if I could tell her who called she just hung up. When I tried to call the number back I received a message that this number was not in service.
Extremely annoying. Next time I answer the phone I will say I am she. Then I will find out what this is about.

Got a call. Did not answer and they did not leave a message. Since I live in the 251 area code, I had no reason to answer as I didn't recognize the number.

This number called me with unknown name. I answered because it was a local number. At first there was complete silence when I picked up. As I was about to hang up I heard a '"hello." So I said hello again and a woman started in with, "Mrs. Dell, my name is..." that's as far as she got because I stopped her and said "Dells, I have no idea who that is."
She swore quietly, sighed and hung up on me. I take this is a scam call because if she was calling from a legitimate company, then swearing and hanging up on people instead of bothering them for the inconvenience you just caused them, would be grounds for trouble if a boss heard that.
Dells is not my last name and I know no one by that name either.
