Got a call from this number, shows up as Birmingham, AL.  We don't know anyone from there.  They didn't leave a message.

They use Veterans day too. That's just what those low life people do.

Only one I found is the 7680 that actually has a junk fax blocker button on the panel.

They called yesterday and today - went to voice mail - they did not leave a message.  I called back today and got a (long) voicemail message stating everything except who they are and said if you wanted to be put on their do not call list to stay on line and give your name and number.  These calls are sooooo annoying.  You are in the middle of working (or playing or whatever) and the phone rings.  You stop to see if it is a call you want or need - these interruptions in my life are ridiculous.  I need to concentrate on my job and this is difficult to do when you are constantly interrupted by these idiots.  I am on the do not call list (which is useless as well).  All you have to do is agree to let one person call you and then they affiliate with everyone else in the world and now they are all allowed to call you as well just because they are an "affiliate".  Makes me want to disconnect my phone completely - if I didn't consider it a needed item it would be gone!

All my phone numbers are on the Do Not Call List, but I get over 12 unsolicited calls every week.  When I do answer the phone, they either hang up or can't speak English!  I have made numerous Complaints to the FCC, but they tell me that I can file a lawsuit against these unknown parties!!!!  The FCC is useless and the DNC List is a farse.

Complaints to my Senator & Congressman only tell me that they receive a huge number of calls regarding this issue.  I suggested new Federal legislation making this type of activity CRIMINAL HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE with increasing penalties.  Those aiding or ignoring knowledge by Telephone Vendors would also be a FEDERAL CRIME.

I believe they only way to stop this is through vigorous FEDERAL ACTION.  I encourage everyone to write letters to their Senators, Congressmen, the News Media until they can't ignore the problem since it will affect their re-election prospects.

Pretty low to use Veterans Day as a pitch for a scam. Blocked and reported.

Just got a call from this guy wanting money for Veterans who have been " hurt or harmed at war, and those who are living on the streets ". He told me at first he was recording the call. I told him wait I have to record the call also. He then let me know he was calling about helping  " Veterans at war and those family ". Hmmm. Change in the story there a little I would say.
I ask what one was it. hurt , harmed homeless or those families still living here with loved ones still at war?

When I SAID I HAVE FAMILY WHO HAS BEEN AT WAR AND STILL FIGHTING FOR US.
THAT PEACE OF S*** HUNG UP ON ME RIGHT AWAY. I CALLED HIM BACK TO TELL HIM I WAS REPORTING HIM FOR BEING A SCAMMER AND A PEACE OF S*** FOR TRYING TO TAKE MONEY FOR VETERANS.

I am very upset someone trying to make money off the loss of a loved ones.

THEY NEED TO ADD ON THE LIST WHERE IT SAYS CALL TYPE. THE WORD SCAMMER

This number called me. The recording said I was being recorded also. I said Wait I have to record you also for my records. Then ask for money for VETERANS of WAR. Those who have been hurt or even living on the Streets.
The peace of s*** hung up on me after I said I had family that went to war and are still fighting for us.

I am posted this to let others know this is a SCAMMER TRYING TO GET MONEY FOR VETERANS.

After seeing that it's just a sales pitch I'm glad I didn't answer the call from  205-623-4288 and since they are making the pitch about it being for veterans (after reading) it doesn't surprise me that they would try to do this on Memorial Day!

Got a call this morning from BIRMINGHAM, AL. Did not know the number so instead of letting it ring and wake the kids I answered and immediately hung up. The phone rang instantly again. Did the same, hung up immediately. It did that two more times!!! Ba$$turds!!! I'd like to shoot them between the eyes!!!

So I went to the HP Officejet Pro L7680 All in One printer and blocked them too....

Got a call from 205-623-4288.  I attempted to answer but they hung up.  This was the first call, but am expecting more.  This is the way the scum bags operate.

Called my home phone today and it just said "Birmingham, Alabama" who ever it was they didn't leave a message. I am on the do not call list.

Just got a call from this number.
No voicemail left.
Have added them to my call block list.
They wont get through now.

Didn't answer but have been called 3 times from this number:
   May 13, 2013,  May 16th and May 18th (today)  Apparently more nosiness.

The caller from this number started some sales pitch that involved Veterans.  I told him no and hung up.  ThenI called back after posting the number with the complaint department for DNC violations.  He answered and started the same sales pitch.  Told him this was a DNC # and had been reported.  I will follow up.  Suggest we call post the number on facebook and let people call him!!
