They are scammer trying to get you to pay money for unpaid pay day loan.

Same story as the rest of the blogs.  Guy calls and leaves a message on my phone (extremely broken English)  stating his name is Attorney Eric Wallrum or something, and that i would get arrested in two days  if i didn't respond.  Not to mention, he had my social security number.

Having same problem said his name was Russell Hopkins from Morris ans assoc. Told me i had a gotten a pay day loan. Broken english have gotten these calls befote

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got a call from them claiming I had borrowed money from cash advance USA and didn't pay back. When I asked them is this a scam he hung up. They called and left a voicemail telling me if they didn't hear from me or my attorney then charges would be pressed. Crazy people could barely even speak English and before he hung up he said he would be calling the Sherrif office to come arrest me lol guess I better look out for the cops!! Hahahaha

Received a call from a Mr James Murphy of Morris & Associates.  Heavy accent and threaten me of being arrested.  I owe nothing to anyone and some how they have my work number.  Will be calling back and threatening them with legal action of my own.  This is Bull...They need to go back to the hole they came from.  Dirt bags.

Called me 9 times told me he was a lawyer and his name was Michael something too, from alabama and his terrible broken Arabic English.  He threatened me and then hung up on me! What the ****!!!

I have these people calling for 3 plus years randomly saying that I owe them money and if I do not pay they will throw me in jail. It's a bunch of scammers!!!

This rude and ignorant man called 15 times in a row from three different numbers claiming to be an attorney. He said his name was Michael Davies or something to that effect, could not understand his broken English. He swore at me and called me a liar.
