I got a call at 1 AM.  No one was there.  I will be blocking the number 205-683-2586.

A-Holes with recorded message for google ads, just more B/S to bother people, put them on blocked list. got 4 diff calls today that are blocked from more of the A-holes they just bread like vermon

Get two or three calls from this and other AL numbers, and also AZ and CA per night, every night. Whatever these idiots are up to is inconsiderate and burns up my minutes.

Recieved  a text from this # ...said my car payment was due for 350 in 5 days...which is pretty much correct. Called the bank and they do not do alerts through text so someone Definately has my info to view my credit report etc. very annoying and creepy

Asking to speak with the "person in charge of paying the utility bills". I AM on the Do NOt call registry.

got several calls from this number when i answer no one is there...when i call back the number is disconnected.....what is going on?

They have started to call a couple times a day. I have not answered. I tried to call the number back and it is disconnected. They are obviously scammers spoofing the number to look like (205) 683-6178. Someone should play along with their call and try to get some info from them.

get 5 calls a day from this number asking to talk to account holder offering a discout on pg&e rates stating i qualify without even knowing my name or any info i ask for a supervisor and they interrupt and hang up. upon calling 205-683-6178 back the number is listed as disconnected . i dialed the number changing the last digit as biz numbers usually run in sequence ALL WERE CHANGED OR DISCONNECTED. i called pg&e to verify this company calling from pinson alabama PG&E IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THEY HAVE NOT ENLISTED ANY COMPANY TO SOLICIT DISCOUNTS FOR THEM THIS IS A SCAM!! i reported to federal trade commission and entered my info on the national no call list . These people called at 830 am i requested no more calls and they hung up in my face ...calling me again 2 hrs later with a different rep she refused to give me an operational number or transfer me to a supervisor i advised her i reported them to the company they are representing and verified they are fake she hung up on me .THEY ALSO REFUSE TO99 GIVE A CO9MPANY NAME!

As with the other blogs pertaining to the "phantom" that calls from 205-683-6178, We, too, have received calls from this irritating phone number... Has anyone who has written comments on this site had any resolution?  And how?

Didn't pick up, was obvious it was a telemarketer, didn't leave a message! Get a life and get a real job instead of bothering us.

Get called from this number every two to five days since we got our phone a month ago.  Same thing; no one there.  Call back and the number is no longer in service...finally called local phone company and added $3 package to block numbers.

The last month I've been getting these calls from a man who sounds like he might be from the South.
He asked if he could speak with who handles the PGE bill. I told him...The first time, he called (I could tell he was a telemarketer)...I just said "I'm sorry We're not interested, and hung up....A week later...another call...same guy...Same question...I hung up without comment...This week the number changed to (205) 683-6178 no message left...but is from Alabamba  ( I looked up the area code)...This is for sure a harrassement and needs to be stopped...How did my number get in this system? This is a cumbag...That needs to get a life....

I've received about four calls from this number. I let it go to the answering machine and when it does, it sounds like somebody is still on the line but not saying anything. Creepy.

I got a call from this number, I answered...it takes more than a few seconds for them to finally answer.  They asked to speak to the person that is in charge of the PG&E...I asked who is it that they are calling and the gal said my husband's first name.  I said, he's not available, what can I do for you?  She said, I can only talk to him about it...and then hung up.

Getting calls from this number same as above, answer and nothing, then two beeps.

this number called me and I did not pick it up, called it back and it says that this number longer is good.

STARTED CALLING TODAY 2/20/12 ABOUT 3 TIMES ALREADY TRIED CALLING NUMBER BACK SAYS NOT IN SERVICE WHAT CAN ONE DO?

I got a call from this # today about 2:05 p.m. PST. I don't know anyone in (probably) Alabama.  I didn't answer, they left no message, Typical....  BTW as I google a phone number like this I notice a number of sites that claim to find callers for "free" and true to their word they do (at least claim to) find callers identity for free. Of course, then it will cost you money for them to tell you who the caller is. Pretty SLIMEY I think

This number calls me about twice a day. Everytime I answer I get no response, thean I get a beep and it sounds like I'm being recorded.
