I had a friend purchased 3 or 4 guitars from signature gallery. He did a lot of checking to make sure they were legit. Now reading all the info about the two companies I'm not sure if he got ripped off too. He dealt with thesignaturegallery.net. He was going to be auctioning the guitars for a fundraiser for Johns Hopkins Children Cancer Center. I guess he should try to sell these now.

Ed, Can I ask what info you have on the company? I just talked to a guy named Tom (out of FL), who directed me to http://www.thesignaturegallery.biz/ and http://www.legendaryproductionsusa.com/

Was wondering how you confirmed it was a scam. Did you buy any guitars or other items?
I thought it seemed too good to be true...

If you see these ads in your local paper, call them and your states attorney general and make them stop accepting them. All the ads are similar and it is a total scam. Now originating in Florida, legendary productions.com and signature gallery.net

Thanks to doing some research before our authenticated guitars arrived COD, we found out that they are FAKES!! The Signature Gallery in West Palm Beach, FL. didn't exist..the authenticating company Legendary Productions was also a fake. Tom shipped COD to me so I hope that hurt his pocket just a little to ship two guitars UPS. I noticed that the so called fenders were not even fenders. Good to luck to everyone these people have scammed.

The Legacy Collection is a nation wide scam, I recently got a Led Zeppelin signed guitar from them and everything is fake.  The Appraisal company doesn't exist, and all of the phone numbers are dead ends.  These are bad people and do not get envovled with them.

I have bought over $10,000 worth of memorabila from this company over the past 5 years.  Everything always checked out.  All the items passed independent inspection and proved to be real.  Will continue to do business with them.

These signatures are not authentic.  Ebay will suspend your account for selling them.  Also look up the addresses of the COA companies.  I used google maps street view and found out the NYC address for one of the COA companies is a pizza joint.  Others are UPS stores or warehouses.  Non are real.  I had guitars sent to me 18 months ago that turned out to be fake.  i got my money back.  2 days ago 3 charges showed up from my bank account buying advertisements is news papers from Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Key West guess what, they were for signed guitars.  They now have fraud complaints in all 3 cities and my home city.  This is a scam.

All of the above seems to be correct, however, the autographs being sold ARE authentic. The service has been terrific. In addition, I inquired about a futher discount on a purchase of multiple guitars and they were not willing to go down quite far enough for me to agree. I would think any scam artist would take whatever hundreds they can get, not turn away an offer of that amount.

I found the ad listed in the local newspaper in the gift section. Was not listed in the advertising section of the paper. I called a local number, went to VM, then got a call back from Paul. Paul was in California, dead father passed away, working to sale items etc. His area code was 323 like those above. He did email me the website legacycollectiononine.com which took me to a crisp website. I was a little concerned when James said to ignore retail prices, I could get a guitar for $ 400. Then I came across this site with your information. Thanks for sharing. I knew it was to good to be true as well.
