The Captain is back. What an a-hole.

Several phone calls and from other posts realize they are scammers using my personal phone and need to be reported for investigation to shut them down for breaking privacy rights. Come through on call I.D. as Wireless Caller. Thankyou. Track and cease, please

I didn't listen to the whole spiel.  As soon as I hear that it is a "free" trip or anything else that I have "won" I'm done, so I'm not sure what their scam is.  A guess would be that you only have to pay a small fee for something---maybe a 'confirmation fee' or a small fee to 'upgrade the cabin' or something attractive enough and inexpensive enough that anyone who falls for the scam in the first place might just bite on and give them a credit card number, only to find hundreds if not thousands of bogus charges on when they get their next bill.

Has anybody actually talked to these people long enough to get the whole story?   If nobody knows exactly what this scam is, maybe the next time they call I'll play along just to see and I'll act very excited about the "free trip I won".  And if they do want a credit card number, I think I'll tell them I am in my garage and the card is in the house, upstairs on my dresser and will take me a few minutes to get and then I'll just lay the phone down and go about my business and see how long they will hold on.

Got a call and it they did not leave a message... I called the number and I got a busy signal.
Must be a scam call.

Spammer! Called my house phone at 3 PM. I don't answer unrecognized calls. Call-back resulted in a busy signal.

I got a call on my cell phone and I did answer it but no one was on the other end so I blocked the number....

Called today. Obviously another Washington state scam.

Woo Hoo, I won a free cruise.  I am inviting all my female friends that look good in a bikini.  Actually, I am old and married, so I added this number to my reject list.

Just received a call on my mobile phone - and I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST... as I suspected, the callers are thieving, lying, POS scammers...

I hope the FCC finds a way to identify and ZAP! these idiots...

We all pay good $$ for our phone service - allowing idiots like these to access and call us whenever - after we've indicated we don't want their calls - is just a travesty. But you can pass all the laws you want to prevent bad behavior - and criminals will just ignore the rules... who is surprised?

Last comment - the scammers use spoofing software, so their phone call could originate from anywhere. Boiler room losers - don't EVER do business with lowlifes like these.

I received a call from this number this morning and did not answer it, they left no message.

called at 7:30 at night to my home phone. I ignored the call. The area code of 206 is assigned to the state of Washington...the Seattle area to be more specific.

Called a few times to cell.  Never answered, they did not left a message. Same number called my wife's cell.  She answered it and got the auto, "Congratulations!...blah, blah, blah...".  Seems she "won" a vacation to Mars or somewhere.  Needless to say she will not answere it again.

It is crazy people do this. Who in there right mind calls total strangers. Millions of them. And then doesnt the phone? And our government does nothing.

I would go to make a compkaint at the do not call but i got a life and i dont think the government will do anything.

I don't believe you. 80 calls in an hour good imagination. They would have to dial every 45 sec. Even with robo dial that's impossible. I think you just wanted to say something so you could be part of something.

Better keep your answering machine off, if you have one - if one of those picks up, it also tells the spammers that they've called a legitimate number.

called on my landline this AM. I did not answer, no message left.

These are the same scumbags that called my cell phone on Aug 27, 13.  I had another number also from same area call from (206) 200-0946 which was a spam "boat cruise call".  I would think probably same people.  I'm blacklisting it.

Call from 206-200-3579 on my cell.  They didn't leave a msg.  I'm on the DNC List for Home, Cells and Work.  My home and cell have CID, so I don't answer numbers that I don't know.  My work phone does't so when I answer the phone and I don't get a response within 3 seconds, I hang up.  People, do not call these scammers back, do not press whatever to be removed from their call list.  If you do, you give them confirmation that they have a valid number and will not stop calling you.  They are scammers and do not care about the DNC list and know that even if you file a complaint they will call from another number.  Also, these scammers are calling from call centers OUTSIDE the U.S.

This spammer/scammer called my cell phone. I also never pick up any calls from  strangers. If someone has a legitimate reason to call me, the will leave a voice message.

I keep getting calls from numbers that are not working when you call them back or that are trying to sell me something or to save money on my credit cards!  I keep getting these calls early morning and even the middle of the night. Please make them stop!  I pay a lot for a cell phone and do not need phony companies using up my minutes!
