Got a text message similar to cincy-delhi. When I called back I got voicemail; an arrogant, young, male voice stated that I should call the FCC, to keep "morons like me from sending you text messages", he even announced the FCC phone number. My cell number is on the DNC list, too. FCC advised that text messaging is not covered by the DNC service. They referred me to my State Attorney General, with whom I filed a complaint. I also contacted Verizon and discontinued text messaging. Incidentally, I got the identical text message from a different phone number, yesterday.

Were you able to do anything w/ this? I also got the text and am on the no spam lists as well as supposedly blocked this by Verizon so they somehow figured out how to bypass the usual firewalls, etc.

Recieved txt message "Take a step in the right direction, fix your credit today. Reply YES8 to begin." i will persue this and take legal action if needed. my lawyer confirmed they are violating federal law by doing this. Don't just sit back and complain, take action or they will never stop.

I just got text about Insurance I supposely inquired about! I NEVER inquired about any insurance. Does anyone know how to stop these text's. I had reported my cell to a "Do Not Call List". I do it every year. It doesn't seem to work. :(
