Daily calls - Update free google listing or your business will be removed from google.  Google should do something about its service being mis used this way!

Here is a solution to this problems.    Works for us.

There is NO stopping all the telemarketers out there. Here is what is going on.

1. There are phone bots, that all it does is call numbers looking for live phone numbers. If the number answers either with you picking up or your voice mail, then it logs that number and moves on to the next number.

2. With all these 'live numbers' they are then sold to the telemarketers who then with their automatic dialers, will then be calling you etc.

3. If you try to call the number that they are calling you from, then you get no where because they do not want to be bothered as we are with 100 of calls.
So you are either getting the telemarketers or the phone bots calling you.   Getting mad or calling to be taken off their phone list is a waste of time.

SO OUR SOLUTION, as we are in an office, is we answer the first time, and as soon as we know its a bot, or a telemarketer, we save the phone number in our phone as a Z meaning that it is a telemarketer, etc.

Then when the next call comes in it shows that it is a Z and  we just ignore it.

Right now, we have over 40 - Z phone numbers on our log, and we no longer get bothered but we are adding at least 2 a day to the Z list.

Give up ... find a way to just know that they will never stop but there is a way for you to know in advance that they are calling and to just ignore them.
Let us know if you try this and it works for you, it works like a bomb for us.

I wish there was a button i could press to send a laser beam through the line to the other end and fry their equipment.

our company was told to call this number to updaate our credit card terminal.  they did the update. now we are very worried that they have all our information.

Faked number from a scammer.  This is one of the many callers trying to scam you to pay them for making up a "keyword search phrase" and promising that you'll be on the first page of Google, Bing or Yahoo.

Yeah right.  

Nobody should do business with scum like this.   Who'd want them to represent their business when they succeed in making so many people mad with their illegal robo-calls?

they leave a message on my phone everyday. when I call the number its busy. Thru research I found out the company is IP Communication.

These people keep calling my cell phone.  I am tired of it.  Please do something about it!

I've filed many complaints abut unwanted faxes sent to my phone despite the fact that the phone number is listed with the Do Not Call Registry (which is unhelpful) and I rarely receive unwanted faxes anymore.

received a call at dinnertime, a recorded message, trying to sell some internet web page ranking service.  whitepages.com reverse phone shows the line as:  XO Communications landline from Seattle, Washington.

Don't take it.  Report them to the US Government FTC Do Not Call agency.  There's a quick form to fill out and if enough people do it an investigation is likely.

Another robo-caller.  Added as SPAM entry on phone with no ringtone.

My answering machine states no soliciating but above number keeps calling.

These criminals have been calling me using various numbers (I block one number and they switch to another...then another and another). This has been going on for quite a while. Thankfully, I can block lots of numbers and I'm persistent.

Eventually the criminals will move on to another scam, which would be good as I'm tired of this one (and  also the 'free' vacation, 'free' airmiles, warning about my computer sending out error messages (LOL), phoney 'credit card services' and all of the rest................)

This Seattle-area number, probably falsified by Customer Provided Equipment ('CPE'), called my Canadian church at 11:52 Pacific on Monday December 10, 2012.  Nobody was in the church, so no idea why they called.

Just filed an FCC complaint at www.fcc.gov. Select "Complain" in the drop down and file it. That is the only way these guys can be shutdown.

Got a call from these idiots. I am totally sick of them. This is a clear federal violation - we have our nos on the FCC Do not call list and yet these guys are going around opening flaunting it.

I have a small business and it is so frustrating to get these calls.I make 99% of my sales via telephone conversations/referrals from other customers. Therefore, I answer my telephone whenever it rings. Out of Area is not a name but I don't want to lose a customer by not answering. Sure wish I could know before being needlessly interrupted when I an involved with my work! Does 'pretending' to be interested really get a real person on the other end of the call? If so, I definitely will give it a try.....anything that helps is good.

I answered, it was a Robo Call saying "to verify your free business listing please press 1".  Number now blocked.

I keep getting numbers from these creeps. They call my home and offer to get my business (what business?) listed on the front page of major search engines. The messages says to push 1 to talk to a sales person, but when you do that, the call hangs up on you. Slimes.
