I have been harassed for the last week by phone number 786-275-5073; on top of that, they are harassing my place of business non-stop.  I finally called them back, and they told me that I had defaulted on an online payday loan with Cash Advance America from April 2010. After 30 minutes of this foreign guy telling me that I wasn't allowed to talk, I finally got a phone number out of him.  Guess what?  More foreigners.  The kicker is that not only did I not have internet access, no money ever went into my account.  I will admit, I did apply, but was promptly denied because I don't make enough money.  Now they're saying I owe them $500 because I "took out a loan for $250."  He then proceeded to ask me if I have ever had any law convictions, and that the Sheriff's Department would be along to arrest me and my references and employer would all be fined.  My gut feeling was telling me that there is no way any of this could be real, but there is that part of me that not only doesn't want to go to jail, I don't want to get anyone I know into trouble.  I just want the harassment to stop, is all.  What do I do?

cash usa is the same saying I received a loan on january,15,2011. I never even applied for a loan or received a loan from them. I just tried to get a loan in March and was rejected because I didn't have a checking account. Now the calls never end from 646-597-9030/newyork. I don't know what I can do to end this harrassment????

never apply for a loan on line because the harrassment never ends. Especially,to your job. You're threatened to be fired and they wont stop calling your job until you get fired. And the killing part is you never recieved a loan in the first place. When does it end;phone calls,messages and they do it all night. When do they sleep? NEVER!!!!

i feel your pain. Im recieving the same thing. Someone just called me and said the same thing. and they keep calling my job non stop; thank god i do home health care and my client knows it's b.s..  It's rediculous you can't even apply for a loan on the internet. and on top of it you cant sue them for harrassment because they're not even a real company with an address.... what can you really do?

I have received several calls today from a man I can not understand, he stated he was calling from Dispute Resolution Center  at 786-728-8082.  The caller id read "786786"  He stated that if I did not return the call, it would be considered that I was running away from the issue.  I'm not going anywhere, I am just not going to talk to these idiots anymore.  I do not answer any calls that I do not recognize on the caller id.  I write each number down and google them.  With every number, I get this website and the pages and pages of other people getting the same abuse I am.  I even got a call today from someone who stated he would call my supervisor and I would be fired within 48 hours.

I had a similar experience as Valerie.  They said their client, Cash Advance America (phone number 206-279-2846), was going to issue a supoena for 3 felony fraud counts against me because I had taken out a $300 loan in Oct 2010 and did not pay it back.  A later rep said it was a payday loan for some time in 2010.  I called the only pdloan companies I had used in 2010 and all indicated I had paid in full.  (I made a point to pay everything off in Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 because I wanted to be free of the debt.)  I was called initially from 786786 per caller ID at home AND work.  The callback number to American Law (? - foreign accent so tough to understand name) was 786-728-8082.  One of my pdloan companies took my information and indicated they will be reporting them and gave me the Federal Trade Commission's website so I can submit a report as well.  www.ftc.gov

I got the same call and the same response.  I told him I never took out a loan with his company and they DID NOT deposit money to my account.  I told him I would call the BBB and the state attorney general in my state.  He then said he would check the numbers and noone would call me again.

I was called three times in three days from Steven with American Law Division.  The call originally came from 281-763-0495.  He stated I had taken out a cash advance loan and did not repay it.  Yes, I did apply online back in October.  However, I never accepted any of the offers, due to the charges approximately 30% ($500 loan with $150 fee).  Outrageous.  I asked for documentation.  He said he had it, but would not give it to me.  He would not give me a mailing address for American Law Division.  I asked for the cash advance co telephone number, and the number he gave me was 206-279-2846.  I have yet to call it.  I informed him that he was trying to scam me and that he was not to call me again.
